9th Nov 2023 (1 year ago)Dreadful experience with Surrey and Hampshire estate agent in Godalming. I put an offer in on a flat which was accepted and had no correspondence from the agent whatsoever. I even paid for a full survey and didn’t hear back from them… sent many E-mails and left many messages. Very frustrating since I found out at a later stage they sold it?! Why not keep me informed? The middle aged guy who works for them I believe is not to be trusted. He buys up many properties cheaply for himself and rents them out. I wouldn’t be surprised he scooped the flat I wanted at a lot cheaper price. The estate agents are unprofessional and hope and pray I never deal with them ever again!

It was far from an easy or quick one in the end, but they ultimately found the perfect buyer for our property and situation. He had original ideas that he used to market the property - which worked - we had an offer at the asking price the day after the property went live! He was in constant communication every step of the way so I knew what was happening. He could not have made this process easier for me.
