25th May 2023 (1 year ago)Arrogance at the highest level! Was informed 24 hrs prior that my valuation had to be moved as a staff meeting was more important. Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!
4th Apr 2024 (16 weeks ago)We recently used w h brown Harrogate to sell a relatives property and I have to say that the service was very good in general. We had been on the market with 2 other agents in Harrogate prior to browns dealing with the sale and had not had a great experience with either agent! So I was very specific in the service I wanted when instructing browns…. initially I dealt with the previous manager who was excellent but left the company prior to us agreeing a sale ….the new manager however Claire introduced herself and then handled the property negotiations at offer stage and chased the sale up, we completed approximately 9 weeks after agreeing the sale, she provided an excellent service.I was a manager of an estate agents for 25 years so know what makes a good agent and I can honestly recommend W H Brown Harrogate if you are looking to sell in the Harrogate area. 15th Nov 2023 (8 mo. ago)When Anna Jephcott visited our home to tender as our agent I knew she and her team would be good.Anna’s professionalism shone through and I knew we would be in safe experienced hands. Bridgfords valued and marketed our property precisely and with their nationwide network it was soon sold. This is when Anna and her team really started to work,always being proactive communicating with us,solicitors and buyers and we’re always at hand. I cannot thank them enough and would thoroughly recommend Bridgfords.

We encountered them when buying a house a few years ago and were impressed at their fairness in handling the buyer/seller balance. Hence tje decision to use them when selling. This last transaction fell at a difficult time and had some complications but they showed patience, persistence, courtesy and even humour. In brief, we trust them.

I definitely made the right choice and I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending him to anyone else. He was extremely knowledgable, approachable and sensitive to our needs. His advice and support throughout the process was fantastic. In particular, I really appreciated the regular updates as communication with companies is not always the easiest but this was not the case with Andrew. He kept us informed all along the way and was easily contactable when required. It was certainly no surprise to me seeing all the 5 star glowing reviews here! Well deserved! 18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

They have been attentive, responsive, and always available to address any concerns or issues that arise. The maintenance of the property has been impeccable, and any repairs or maintenance requests are handled promptly. They truly care about their tenants and strive to create a comfortable living environment. I highly recommend Silverspring Sales and Lettings as a tenant for anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy rental experience.
