Moving is pretty stressful at the best of times, more so currently during this pandemic. Hunters have been a massive positive for us in managing our sale. We had regular updates and contact from them; all the team we had contact with were professional yet friendly and personable and Shona in particular was an absolute star. I can not recommend them highly enough. One of our best moving decisions was to use Hunters.

The whole experience with hunters was simple and straight forward. Having told them we needed to rent urgently, we were moved in just in time. Georgina in particular was very professional and helpful.

After a few letdowns from other estate agents we were very pleased to find Hunters. Very professional, responsive and helpful. Within 2 says we had seen the house, applied and been accepted. Georgina was absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend.

Helpful staff, and easy online process of submitting relevant documents. By far the best experience of going through a letting agency.

Before we had got our flat, they were so helpful always happy to help, but now that they have 6 months of my money they're constantly out of the office, currently waiting on reimbursemennt for a set of keys for 6 weeks now, called the office at least 10 times and the letting agent is always out for one reason or another.

Staff are really friendly and are very helpful. Would definitely recommend. Georgina and Rachel have both been a massive help through this process.

Buyers and sellers beware. Experienced numerous delays and misinformation leading to poor customer service. All that matters to Hunters is their fee rather than the pain and anguish of a bad customer experience. Their complaints procedure is flawed. Best to steer clear.

After struggling with another agent in the area, we called in Hunters to help with the rental of our flat. Sophie Hustwith was exceptional and made the process seamless...to top it all off, she found us a high quality tenant very quickly. Would highly recommend.

We used an online estate agent to sell (won't do it again!) and bought through Hunters. I've moved many times and always get frustrated by the unfulfilled promises given by estate agents. Hunters were, without doubt, the best agents I have ever dealt with. They kept us fully updated and always did it professionally and courteously. Excellent customer service. Good response to valuation request. All viewings were accompanied and I was given prior notice. Did not deal with same person throughout which was disappointing and had to ask what was happening once we had an offer, seemed too busy to keep me informed and obviously once I had accepted an offer I was no longer a "client" I guess. Seemed like a lot of money for not much work. Also promised professional photos but they were taken by the guy who did the valuation. Would rate 6 out of 10.

We were really impressed with the attentiveness and personal service we received from all the staff and how quickly they got people round to view our house. One we had sold they kept in touch with all  the new houses coming to the market and we eventually bought through them as well!!!

Recently, my husband and I had decided to upgrade our property, as we needed more room due to expecting our 1st baby! 
We considered a variety of estate agents who seemed much of a muchness, however Matthew at Hunters seemed to stand out due to him taking the time to understand our circumstances, provide specialist knowledge of the area and market, plus showing genuine confidence (not arrogance) in selling our house for the price stated! 
Within days, our brochure was produced and we had potential buyers waiting to view our property. By the end of the 2nd day of viewings we had received a variety of offers, Jordan at Hunters provided buyer information to help make our decision which was invaluable, as a result we accepted asking price the same day.
Following acceptance, it was then left to the solicitors, but due to being in a chain it was understandably not as swift as originally thought. However, James at Hunters was ‘on the ball’ and determined to have all parties communicating effectively, putting our minds at rest instantly. James returned our calls when promised and went far beyond what was asked of him.
Overall, our experience with Hunters Estate Agents in Harrogate has been excellent due to the high level of professionalism and fantastic support provided throughout the process. Value for money!

We have recently bought a house through Hunters and have been very impressed with their professionalism. They were always helpful and friendly and made the experience easier. James was excellent! We would happily use them again.
