2nd Sep 2024 (5 weeks ago)We used David Plaister to sell my late mother’s property at auction because it needed a bit of structural work and so was difficult to sell through the usual Estate Agent channels. From start to finish both David Plaister and Sophie Thorne; (who deals with the administration and sale) were professional, personable and highly efficient in ensuring everything was done to maximise the chance of selling the property. Their marketing is second to none, and this coupled with David’s knowledge of the local area and Sophie’s attention to detail ensured we were served very well indeed. The property sold at the first auction at a price that both parties ( buyer as well as vendor!) were pleased with. We could not have had better service- I would highly recommend David Plaister for anyone having to sell a property at auction. Sit back- leave it to them; you will be in good hands and I’m sure you will be happy with the outcome!

13th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)This company seems to be responsible for one of the worst eyesores in Somerset. Their collapsed hording around a development site is a disgusting mess. As it marks the gateway to Highbridge the owners, developers and agents have a responsibility to maintain it in an appropriate condition. I am pretty sure that none of the people in these organizations would want this sort of mess on their doorstep.

2nd Aug 2024 (9 weeks ago)I Changed Agents to Housefox after my previous sale fell through at 3.5 months of the selling process. Note to sellers…….. if your buyers are Cash Buyers make absolutely sure your agent gets proof of funds…………. and double check this early on in the process. Housefox were really great and I would definately recommend.
3rd Jul 2020 (4 years ago)We have been very happy with A&F. They have always been polite, friendly and professional. In a very difficult market they did not keep asking us to lower the price which seems to be most agents' fall back position.

Michael was very professional at all stages, always replying to any queries quickly, giving excellent advice and always available. We were really pleased with the photos and marketing, and viewings and achieved a quick sale. We were also very happy with the aftercare too, making sure the sale went through smoothly. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Charles Barnard again.

We then went to Charles Barnard Estate Agents and have nothing but good praise for everything the Whole Team did for us. We have not crossed the line yet but we hope signatures will be in the very near future.

9th Sep 2024 (25 days ago)Tom from GTH has been absolutely amazing! As first time buyers we did not know what to expect, Tom has been so helpful and guided us through the process. We fell in love with a property and without Tom's hard work and efforts we probably wouldn't have got it! Although the sale is now going through Tom is still very much involved and keeps us updated with everything we need to know. His communication is exceptional and he is always available on the phone. We would 100% recommend GTH and specifically Tom!
