17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.
11th Jun 2026 (17 days ago)Wished to get some advice regarding land and principle property titles and was put in contact with Lucy Glanvill. Got generic advice and asked me to put it in writing, which I did. 1st email gets lost, follow up email I get the same generic response we discussed and my last email has gone unanswered. 3 months later I was none the wiser. I phoned Strutt & Parker's rural team and got a knowledgeable answer over the phone in 15mins. I've used Savills in Kent to sell a rural business and was impressed, but my first experience of the Exeter office is lacking and know where to go when the time comes!<br><br>Since posting this review I received a kind phone call apologising for this. I revised my rating from 2 to 4 stars as trying to put things right is rare these days than it used to be.

They show their pride in their work by prepping the vendors extremely well before I come to for the marketing appointment- would highly recommend them as someone’s estate agent :)

They guided us through the sale. Brian did a great job from start to finish , getting us the best price and making the brochure look stunning . They keep me informed of what's happening so that I can still make my own choices in relation to maintenance and tenancies, but I am confident that they will get any issues sorted for me. 21st May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Mayfair Town & Country inserted themselves into an active legal dispute despite having had no substantive involvement whatsoever in the management of the property, the handling of repairs, repeated reports of water ingress, mould, septic issues or the wider tenancy failures giving rise to the matter. Their involvement had effectively ended many months earlier when the tenancy concluded and the deposit was returned, yet Meg King nevertheless sought access to correspondence and evidence entirely outside the scope of any legitimate authority Mayfair possessed. More remarkably, there was even an unnecessary suggestion that a guarantor — wholly unrelated to the disrepair issues being raised — might somehow be contacted. No proper explanation for the relevance of this was ever given because there plainly was none. When challenged, Anna Tucker’s response amounted to little more than an attempt to retrospectively justify Mayfair’s involvement on the basis they had once arranged the tenancy and protected the deposit. That conveniently ignored the obvious fact that this conferred no continuing authority to involve themselves in an ongoing dispute centred on long-standing management and compliance failures entirely outside their remit. Taken as a whole, the conduct came across as intrusive, heavy-handed and opportunistic. Rather than helping resolve matters, Mayfair’s sudden appearance simply reinforced the impression of a reactive and disorganised approach by those connected to the estate’s management. A thoroughly unprofessional experience.!!

All the people, i dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the photography as all the staging was left to me and nothing was arranged to make it look better.
