They were professional and helpful and achieved an accepted offer in a timely manner.. They helped to progress the sale with a positive outcome. 27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)We used Tor Estates to sell our house and Tor Finance to secure a new mortgage recently. Both these businesses are absolutely faultless, Neil sold our house not once but twice after losing our first buyer, quickly and efficiently. Holly in the office is the easiest person to talk to, and she goes above and beyond to make you feel constantly reassured, we had a lot of stress with our onwards purchase and she always had time to listen to me when I was stressing, offering a friendly ear and mountains of support. Last but by no means least Gavin is the best Financial Advisor out there in my opinion, he sorted out a complicated mortgage for us, explained everything fully (more than once to me), probably the most patient man alive! The whole team are professional but also fun, they will make you laugh, and when you are going through one of the most stressful processes in life, that is what’s needed, trust me! Thanks again guys, you are the best!

9th Mar 2026 (8 weeks ago)We had a wonderful experience with Edward and the whole lovely team at CJ Hole. They went out of their way to help and advise us and to get lots of people in to view our property - giving us guidance along the way on what would be helpful in the current market with the sale. Everyone in the office was kind, thoughtful and polite. You really feel like they have your back and want the best for you. They are also very knowledgeable and I trusted they knew what they were doing. We unfortunately lost our first buyer, because of their own circumstances and CJ Hole made sure we had advice about price etc and got viewings through the door again. A lovely team who I would highly recommend.
7th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

They guided us through the sale. Brian did a great job from start to finish , getting us the best price and making the brochure look stunning . 20th Apr 2026 (15 days ago)I have just completed my first-buyer journey of purchasing my first ever home with Fox and Sons. Specifically, Peter from the Taunton branch was my representative and overlooked my purchase. Right from the first viewing of the property, Peter was accomodating, informative, and very open to answering my questions. Throughout the entire process, Peter was timely in responding to my emails and requests for information. He assisted with chasing the seller's solicitors when needed, which was immensely helpful in expediting the process and keeping things moving forward smoothly. Thank you again Peter for all your help - I highly recommend him and the entire Fox and Sons team!
1st May 2026 (4 days ago)They had since September to sell our property, which was first listed at their own valuation. Over the months, they repeatedly advised us to reduce the price, which we did three times. We were out of contract with them from December, but still ended up stuck with them until 1st May. In that time, we had only three viewings, and we believe one of those may not have been genuine. It felt like they were just bringing anyone round to make it look as though they were doing something, including people who had not even sold their own property. They have wasted valuable time when we could have been with a company that actually cared about selling our home. Now that we are going with another estate agent, they want £300 from us after seven months of poor service. Avoid at all costs.
15th Jul 2025 (9 mo. ago)Dan and Layla have been great throughout the process. They seem genuinely interested and always happy to help and kept me well informed. We did sell under the property valuation but I think that's more due to our selling position.
14th Apr 2026 (21 days ago)Two years ago, when I moved out of one of their houses, I had to pay a special cleaning team to clean the oven. I sent them pictures of how the oven looked before I moved in and how it looks now, 10 times cleaner than it was. I had to pay anyway. I asked for a bill from the cleaning team because I wanted to check if they had robbed me, I'm still waiting for the bill. I do not recommend it.
29th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)This is the 4th time I have used Wilkie May in Bridgwater to sell property. Nick and the team do an excellent job giving you regular feedback on viewings and follow up on the legal process on your behalf. The solicitor I used was very complimentary about the Bridgwater team. The levels of professionalism are excellent yet you still feel like they really care about you and they manage expectations and endeavour to get the best price possible for your property I have no problem in highly recommending Wilkie May, Nick and the team at Bridgwater
26th Jun 2025 (10 mo. ago)As Palmer Snell is part of a larger network, they had to deal with a central office which delayed thing at times. All the people, i dealt with were very pleasant and helpful. I was a little disappointed with the photography as all the staging was left to me and nothing was arranged to make it look better.
2nd May 2026 (3 days ago)We asked to take the property at the asking price on Monday for a property, was told to send an email because clearly they couldn’t be bothered to take it over the phone! Email sent Monday and we have not yet to heard (Saturday) Being in the industry this is why we have a bad name and now I know that agents like this is exactly why!!!! Complete joke!! If you’re a landlord with this company how many times have you lost a good tenant because of a lack of care!!??

21st Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend, especially if you are renting through them. I’m really disappointed with my experience. The people I’ve spoken to have always come across as polite and approachable, which made me feel initially reassured. However, that hasn’t been reflected in how my situation has actually been handled. My main issue is with my deposit. It has now been over 2 months, and I am still waiting for a proper response or resolution despite following up multiple times. This has been frustrating and stressful, especially as it feels like there’s a lack of urgency in dealing with something that matters a lot to me. Each time I call, I’m directed to the lettings team, but they often seem unaware of my case or any previous communication, even after I’ve been in touch repeatedly. This shows a clear lack of internal communication and coordination. It’s disappointing because the conversations themselves feel positive, but the follow-through just isn’t there. I was expecting a more efficient and transparent service.

27th Mar 2026 (6 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
