27th Jul 2016 (10 years ago)The purpose of this review is not to be defamatory or be untrue it is simply an account of my experience of MacPhee & Co. So here is my sorry story. I employed MacPhee & co to sort out legally the custody of my daughter. While I had no problem as lawyers they were actually rather good. The problem started When I received a substantial bill, quite simply I felt they did not keep me informed as to what kind of fees they were running up. When after numerous and phone calls it became apparent that I couldn’t pay their fees straight away and despite agreeing that I pay in installments as quickly as I could. With 2 working days notice they resigned from the case leaving me unrepresented. Now in fairness they did give me a long time to pay the fees that was small comfort as due to trying to represent my self I lost nearly 50% of the access I had to my daughter prior to getting involved with them. This review is purely an account of my experience and I am not recommending you use them or not. The decision dear reader is yours. Finally despite legal letters promising all sorts of actions from them I’m still giving them one star.

Highly Recommended – Excellent Service from Peter Murphy Estate Agents We had a fantastic experience with Peter Murphy Estate Agents when selling our home in Fort William. From the very beginning, Peter was incredibly efficient and helpful, guiding us through every step of the process. He organised the home report quickly, handled all the marketing and estate agency work, and even recommended excellent solicitors, which made everything so much easier for us. Peter personally carried out all the viewings, which resulted in a very quick sale. Throughout the whole process, Peter was professional, approachable, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel simple and straightforward. We always felt confident that everything was in safe hands. We would highly recommend Peter Murphy Estate Agents to anyone looking to sell their home – an outstanding service from start to finish.

24th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)I can wholeheartedly recommend the team at Yates Hellier. From the start Ross explained the whole process very clearly and put my mind at ease. I chose Yates Hellier as I was impressed with their promises of a more personal touch than the larger West End estate agents and they did not disappoint. Ross and Lisa were very easy to deal with . They were in constant communication with updates and viewings. The whole process from marketing to viewings went incredibly smoothly. Even when my initial buyer pulled out at the last minute, Ross and Lisa swooped into action and found another buyer in a matter of hours! Ross and Lisa dealt with all aspects of selling my flat and clearly know their stuff. They were highly professional, kept in constant touch and we sold our flat for a price we were delighted with. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

She’s gone above and beyond in finding opportunities and I could not recommend working with her enough, as she has made the whole process so much less painful!

17th Jul 2026 (18 days ago)phoned Fiuran with only expectations of a viewing for our dream home. Moving home was not our plan but when our dream came up we felt we had to at least make an inquiry. In no way did I expect we would eventually get to call our dream home - our actual home. I had no idea how the process worked about selling and buying a home, but Fiuran were so supportive, kind and understanding throughout the process. In addition to this their level of communication and professionalism was of the highest standard which again helped us massively. Fiuran were recommended to me by many people and they lived up to expectations and more. Forever grateful.
