29th Oct 2025 (9 mo. ago)From the valuation right up until being SSTC (which we are at present so cannot comment any further as I don’t have a crystal ball!) Sam has been absolutely fantastic. He was very honest during the valuation, did not try to pressure sell us, and allowed us to come back to him in our own time after obtaining other valuations. We felt it was an honest and fair valuation that had market evidence to back it up. Sam set up a WhatsApp group which was so helpful for quick communication, and we managed to sell our house in 2 weeks. He also helped us with knowing what and how to offer on our next property, which we have now secured. Even still through the sale process Sam and the team are always on hand if our buyers have any questions for us, or we have any questions in general. He was also a great help in helping us find decent local solicitors. Very smooth process so far - far above expectations.

From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive, informative, and always available, with quick and clear communication at every stage. They were especially proactive in regularly chasing solicitors on our behalf, which made a huge difference during what can otherwise be a stressful and uncertain process. Most importantly, they kept us fully informed every step of the way, so we were never left wondering what was happening next. Their communication and support were outstanding, helping to drive things forward and keep everything moving smoothly. We’re extremely grateful for their help in securing our new home and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and hardworking estate agent. Unfortunately I guess my property being a “Holiday flat” was not the right time to sell during the Autumn/Winter….. I have now other means of moving to my permanent property and hope to be settled soon…. This property may well be rented till we find out what we will be doing…….

8th May 2021 (5 years ago)Beware of using Andrew's to buy/sell! Due to the poor standard of service and lack of communication we were not told of 2 unresolved boundary disputes that affected the sale of a property we had made an offer on. This caused a delay of nearly 7 months before we were forced to withdraw from the purchase due to the behaviour of Andrew's staff and management as well as the sellers attitude as they were constantly told it was not an issue by andrews. Andrew's later admitted to being aware of the boundary disputes when the property had been originally listed. You cannot complete and have the deeds transferred to your name or even get a mortgage on a property with unresolved boundary disputes - Andrew's you should know better! Being repeatedly lied to is not an appropriate form of service! We would not have proceeded to order surveys and searches and instruct solicitors had we known when we made our offer. This entire debacle has cost us nearly £1k in fees. We were offered a mere £250 as compensation for 7 wasted months and £1k of wasted money. We were constantly told it was not an issue and it was repeatedly minimised which dragged the process out. Despite making a complaint to management and escalating through the complaints process to head office we have had no appropriate resolution.

23rd Jun 2024 (2 years ago)I was with a different agent for 3 months and made the move, immediately the it was so much better. Hunters gave me a realistic valuation, the pictures and advertising for my property were so much better making the place look great and I had more viewings in the first week compared to the 3 months with the other agent. It only took 7 weeks to find a buyer. They are prompt with communication and have done a great job working with me to sell my property.
2nd Feb 2022 (4 years ago)Ive had a great experience with Howards. They were excellent communicators, kept me informed about viewings and viewers' remarks every step of the way. I feel they dedicated a very generous amount of time to getting my flat sold and they left no stone unturned in the process. I strongly recommend them.
