Richard Chaudry and his team at Chancellors' Banbury office have provided us with an excellent service. First class communication, regular updates and prompt feedback are very important when dealing with the stress of organising something as complex as a move abroad. Well done Richard . . . first class customer care in every respect. Thank you - Patrycja Muzyka-Robinson
My faith is restored! My past experience with Estate Agents has not always been memorable for the right reasons. But I can honestly say my experience with Chancellors (Banbury) could not have been more positive. Many thanks to Richard and Oliver for their sterling efforts on our behalf. We are grateful to you for responding to all our needs with such professional zeal, with a much appreciated warmth and lightness of touch. Kind regards - Steven Muzyka-Robinson
The most useless estate agent in Banbury by far.....no matter how many times I tell them I am in meetings and cannot take phone calls they insist on phoning and leaving voicemail.
Not only this I send them lists of dates and time and ask them to email me availability / confirmation....voicemail .... "hi please call us back".
Why anyone would pay them is beyond me, they are nothing more than a glorified call center. Use Purple Bricks or anyone else. No wonder they struggle to close sales.
In one word, fantasic!
Very professional from the word go, they are dynamic, not the kind of agents that just let things happen, they go out and make things happen....
Very pleased, they sold our property in 15 hours, and really guide you through the whole home selling and buying process.
My advise, forget the rest go with the best, and they really are.
Terrible estate agents. The tenancy started with a walk around where some issues were pointed out. None of them were fixed throughout the year and when we complained several times that a back door was still not fixed since the start and was a security issue, Camilla the property manager was very rude and unhelpful. We were subsequently forced to pay towards the repair of this but it had worsened due to weather conditions and somehow became the responsibility of the tenants. If they had fixed it in the first place, it wouldn't have got worse.
They set up a portal to report maintenance issues - several were reported, none fixed. Waste of time.
A toilet seat that was broken at the start, again never repaired. When I had called, I was told to find my own handyman.
When the tenants wanted to stay on, they couldn't get an answer from the agents if it was okay to proceed with an application.
Was contacted by the agents at the end to put them in touch with the tenants and asked them if I could help with the query and met with a rude answer. I was only trying to help - the agent apologised after but they are truly the worst at correspondence and customer care. DO NOT USE.
Dear Jeremy and Tom
We would like to thank you, for selling our house in 2017 and helping us move forward into our next phase of life/retirement plans.
It was a pleasure doing business with your team.
You have a most helpful, friendly and competent company.
We would not hesitate to use Ankers again.
Kim and Andy Buckle
After deciding to go with another estate agent because I felt Anker charging for pictures of my house was just another way to get more money and selling my house is as much in their interest as mine, I received a very abusive email about wasting their time. Wouldn't recommend and I sold my house without paying for pictures and got more money than Anker valued my property for.
Ollie has helped me make a number of purchases and he has always been excellent. Very professional, pro-active, and quick to respond to any issue.
After renting privately for the last 10 years I was very sceptical about approaching any agency. I had visited a few others in the area before Chancellors where Richard Chaudry made me feel confident and comfortable throughout the entire process. Not only have I found the perfect home but it was done efficiently and professionally. Service with a smile!
