Efficient, courteous & extremely fast sale
Have just received & accepted an offer less than a week after engaging Connells to sell the property. There was not even time for photographs to be taken or a brochure constructed; Connells contacted people they thought might be interested & 4 viewings took place within 5 days of instructing them.

Connells have been fantastic in all aspects of their role as Estate agents. We previously listed with 2 other agents (1 online agency and another well established local agent) who after "talking the talk" at point of valuation failed to deliver. We had almost given up when Connells approached us to give their agency a go. They did not disappoint. The photographs of our property were the best we had by far and we were very pleased with our listing which was tailored to our needs and preferences. Steve, Morgan and Lawrence were fab and regularly called clients that they thought would be interested / were viewing properties in the area to introduce them to ours. This was such a stark contrast to other agencies who seemed to rely solely on their online listings. They were always available to complete the viewings and gave us instant feedback. We really liked the fact that Steve (Manager) was always in the office which left him available to 'sell the property' to interested parties and negotiate on offers. Morgan did a fantastic job at sales progression and always kept us in the loop. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

If I could give less stars I would.
Company have absolutely wasted my time. After two days of going back and forth they advised what price the seller would accept. Once I had offered that price they then "pre-emptively congratulated me" fast forward less than an hour later for them to tell me that they were not going to proceed with my offer as they are sticking with the 1st buyer of which they had advised had gone MIA hence the reason they relisted the property.

Steve was absolutely amazing throughout our whole sale and purchase process. A friendly and non judgemental voice to speak to and offer the best advice which ultimately led to the best decisions being made for us. Couldn't fault them. Also so easy to use their own conveyancers as this made communication easy and was much cheaper than using external conveyancers. Also a massive shout out to Laurence/Lawrence who helped us with a few viewings and gave up a lot of his time to help us too. Amazing ????

We recently sold our house on Longford Park with Connells. We put the house on the market around Christmas time so the market was slow, however when we voiced our concerns to Laurence he went above and beyond to get us viewings and we ended up selling the house within a few months. After we had agreed the sale Laurence was very helpful and always kept us informed and responded to our emails/ calls really quickly and was super pro active. I Would definitely recommend Laurence to anybody looking to sell their home in the Banbury area.

I have just purchase a property through Connells. I found all the staff gave exceptional service particularly Laurence Grimes. I viewed the property with him to start with and he dealt with the sale from start to finish. He answer every email quickly and any questions i had on the property he asked the owners and came back to me straight away. Nothing was too much trouble for him. On day of completion which was delayed by solicitors going to lunch ! he did everything he could to get the keys finally released to me. Jude Gaal was so unprofessional, lied about a house sale which she had already agreed, on the day of the viewings, didn't make any effort to put my offer forward, despite me calling and emailing several times.
Nick Devonport was also unprofessional, rude and aggressive on the phone, forced me to put an offer forward, after the seller had already accepted the offer jude put forward, they also claimed the seller rejected higher offers made, ha what a joke !
The worst unethical company ever, would never deal with them again!

The staff are helpful and friendly taking the time to talk to you, giving feedback on viewings within a short period of time. I feel like they are friends and I have no qualms about them coming in & conducting the viewings.
I would NOT recommend the use of their conveyancing service, that's a totally different ball game, slow beyond belief, constantly having to chase them up, errors on legally binding paperwork which had I not noticed could have been disastrous financially. Emails and documents returned via postal service aren't acknowledged. Rarely updated on what's happening.
Because they aren't based locally you end up having to find independent solicitors to witness your signatures at extra expense.
All in all a slow stressful experience I hope I never have to repeat.

Noone likes bad reviews, and many are of staff that have long moved on (quite rightly) . The good news is we have a great team in the town centre now. We're friendly, helpful and professional.

I do not recommend using Connells Banbury to sell your property.
They seem very friendly and professional to begin with but soon become unresponsive, rude and extremely unprofessional!
They did not show up to meetings that had been arranged, they do not answer the telephone or return calls when left on the answerphone and do not ever send them an email as they will not reply.
I have received no feedback from the few viewings they did receive on my property.
Extremely disappointed!

Without Jude and her team we would not currently be living in the new house we are in today. They went above and beyond to make the deal go through and picked up extra work to make up for the lack of co operation from the solicitors. Jude made home visits in situations to speed up the process when time was getting tight. Couldn't be more grateful that we ended up using their business.

I had a pretty nightmarish 6 months while trying to purchase my first property (not to the fault of connells), Connells throughout the journey, were completely professional, responsive, understanding and held there ground throughout the entire process, even with me bombarding them with calls and emails!
Even to the point, where I had gotten into the house, found out the boiler wasn't working, a member of their team was round within 30 minutes to have a look!
Highly recommend with their welcoming and friendly team.

I recently made contact with Connells in Banbury after being recommended by a family friend. I initially called the office in respect to a 1 bedroom flat close to the train station and spoke to Amber who confirmed that an offer had already been made on the property, but that they had a number of other properties available matching my criteria. Unfortunately Amber was unavailable when I made it to the office, however I was greeted by Isaac who, if I recall, is a senior negotiator on the team. I was surprised at how young and knowledgable Isaac was, and he was able to pinpoint some excellent properties in close proximity to the train station, which was a must for me as I commute to London each day. Isaac was able to show me three properties on the day which were all fantastic, and I am pleased to say that last week I placed a deposit on one. Having been searching for a number of months and attending many viewings, I can honestly say that Isaac met my expectations and more, and offers a far more superior customer service than other negotiators I have encountered. Connels of Banbury, and Isaac are definitely the best in Banbury, if not Oxfordshire! Thoroughly recommended without a doubt.

Terrible Service. Issac is the most rudest person I've ever spoken to!!! Sarcastic on the phone. Asking me inappropriate to the house questions. Wouldn't let me view houses. Three houses I wanted to view with Connells. When I rang up and spoke to Issac I had to see if i "fitted the criteria" to view a house!!! Your lose Connells cause I will never use you ever. And I will tell everyone never to use you.
