We have just bought our property through James at Churchill Estates and would highly recommend them. They kept us informed at all stages there was 10 people all bidding on the house at the same time and we have to put close bids in so was quite nerve racking but James kept everything running smoothly and at ease. Luckily we were the winners and then the after process was great.
Inspiring Shutters and Blinds
Useless! Called them 5 times trying to arrange a viewing on a property they advertised - no interest or call back from their side whatsoever. Not intending to contact ever again
I recently bought a house through pettyson @ Prestwich and were supported throughout the process fantastically- thank you.
After showing interest in an apartment in Snaresbrook and arranging a viewing by phone, I received an email confirming the address and time for the viewing. As it turned out, I was given the wrong postcode and therefore arrived at the wrong address, a 20 minute walk away from where the property was actually located. I received a call from Du Preez Botha who asked me where I was and, after explaining to him that he had indeed given me the wrong postcode he said "well I had the same postcode as you and have never been here before myself and I've managed to find it". Although I should have checked the name of the road itself as well as the postcode, I did only use the postcode as I was using my google maps app. Estate agents are by nature rather arrogant people who know the rental market well, they have a lot of interest in each property. Having said this, if a mistake is made on one's part, one should accept this, not blame the client. He did apologise, although this didn't feel too sincere. I also work in a very busy office where I am responsible for providing addresses to clients. So a word of advice from me would be to: A. double check both the number / name and street name and B. make sure the postcode provided to a potential client matches the address. In this way the time wasted for both parties will be avoided.
I recently had the good fortune to purchase my property with Farr O' Neil. The service I received was excellent. Unfortunately there was an issue with a burst pipe at the property due to cold weather after my offer had been accepted but with the cooperation of Farr O' Neil in particular Andy, I was kept up-to-date at each stage of the process. I really feel that Andy went above and beyond the call of duty and thereby made the purchase process seamless. I have had experience with other agents before but the quality of service at Farr O' Neil for me is unsurpassed.
We experienced an incredibly unprofessional and disappointing experience with Farr O’Neil (James Farr). We agreed a purchase price for a property of one of his clients after subsequent viewings, correspondence, offers to which a final price was agreed. We began to conduct proceedings with solicitors, surveyors and finalising our mortgage. James and his client pulled out days later, agreeing a private sale for the property to which James shared he had no knowledge of, which we find incredibly hard to believe forcing us to abandon the purchase prior to exchange. It is both unethical and downright unacceptable behaviour from both Farr O’Neil and their vendor to show the property to another buyer post the agreeing an accepted price and allowing a buyer to commit both time, efforts and costs in a process which was severely wasted all round. We would therefore not recommend Farr O’Neil, particularly if you want transparency, respect, trust and most importantly integrity in a process in either buying or selling a property. Avoid at all costs.
Excellent service from the guys Jamie is very knowledgable in sales, and Laura is very friendly and excellent knowledge in lettings.
purchased a home from them and use them for lettings would highly recommend them
We got an offer accepted on a property that this agents where selling. After more than a week after they accepted the offer they still didn’t send the memorandum to our solicitors!!!The where stringing is along just to find out the vendors accepted another offer from someone else!!!Would not recommend them as a buyer!!!
I recently sold my flat using Petty Son and Prestwich. Their service throughout the process was fantastic and they secured an excellent outcome for me in a very quick period of time. As with all property transactions there were some issues that arose but all of them were dealt with by the office in an incredibly professional and skilled way. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a professional, friendly and personal estate agent as they will do their absolute best to ensure the journey is a smooth and hassle free as possible.
After failing to sell with another estate agent, we transferred to Petty. Catherine, Sasha, Elaine and Jenny understood our needs, and were friendly, helpful, and professional. We have come to look upon them as friends, as nothing was ever too much trouble. The sale went through smoothly, and we would definitely recommend Petty to other people.
Would highly recommend this agent. I have dealt with them for nearly 10 years and have nothing but praise for them.
I have dealt mostly with Karen and John and they have been excellent in all areas and could not be more helpful and professional but I have to stress that whoever I deal with there, I am always very happy with the service and advice given.
They really look after you and support you with everything and I cannot praise them enough.
Would thoroughly recommend.
