WARNING to all rental tenants. Beware! This company do not vet their landlords or care for tenants welfare, I’d strongly advise you steer clear. They lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with their own dispute with her, left me to deal with an ugly situation they caused in the first place. I had to move out just to get away from an unhinged landlord who was constantly harassing me, and Portico did not step in to help me with any of it. The episode caused me and my family untold distress, affected my mental wellbeing and cost me a fortune. I spoke to the so-called 'manager' about it and all he cared about was grabbing a tidy profit from the situation. Even the staff said the landlord was 'trouble' but i'm the one that took the hit. Don't listen to the positive reviews, if things go wrong they will leave you high n dry. Bad people, bad company, don't grace them with your custom, save yourself and go elsewhere.... Read more

The staff at Douglas Allen are lovely, but sadly, I didn't have one viewing. I do feel that after they advertised on line, they just waited for the phone to ring. Having said that, it is currently a difficult market. Perhaps my valuation exceeded customers expectations??? My experience with William Rose has been extremely disappointing. Throughout the process, there was a noticeable lack of transparency and clear communication, which made what should have been a straightforward experience far more stressful than necessary. I found the level of professionalism to be below the standard I would expect from an estate agency. Information was not always communicated openly, and I was left feeling that honesty and transparency were not prioritised when dealing with my concerns. It also appeared that some members of staff were not adequately trained or empowered to handle issues effectively. Rather than resolving problems confidently, matters were often passed around or left unresolved, resulting in unnecessary delays and frustration. Perhaps most concerning was the apparent lack of accountability from senior management. Despite raising concerns, I did not feel that the directors demonstrated a genuine commitment to addressing the underlying issues or ensuring that the business operates to a consistently high standard. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend William Rose. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and used to improve staff training, communication, transparency, and overall customer service for future clients.... Read more
