26th Jul 2024 (1 day ago)Avoid this estate agents. Been renting on 131 bells hill in barnet. House full of mould on walls and windows and they won't do anything about this. I also been waiting 3 years to get the oven fixed. They only care about getting the money end of the month and increase rent every year. I am currently on dispute with them as they won't give me back my deposit. I'm not the first and I won't be the last having this issues. Previously tenant as received only half of his deposit back.
9th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)We chose Petty Son and Prestwich to sell our house having first got to know them when they were the acting agent for the vendor of the same house four years previously. All I can say is that the whole team are superb. The sales team we worked with, Greg, Faye, Francesca, Catherine, Pamela, Dan worked tirelessly to ensure our beautiful home was pitched at the right price using the right strategy. Their knowledge of properties in the area is second to none and given we ended up moving to another house in the same area, their advice and recommendations during the whole process was invaluable. It was a fairly drawn out process given market conditions at the time, with lots of ups and downs, but we always knew Pettys were keeping us fully informed and looking out for us. The whole team were always available for a chat to discuss progress and pick us up when needed and we really appreciated that. Once the sale was agreed, Elaine and Janine in the sales coordinator team were also incredible. Not every estate agent has a sales coordinator team, but after our experience I wouldn’t choose an estate agent who doesn’t have one. Again they both worked tirelessly to ensure our sale (and purchase) were as smooth as possible, by helping the communication between all parties involved. In conclusion, we thoroughly recommend Pettys for anyone looking to sell in the area and would like to give a big thank you to the whole team.
21st Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Our purchase was a long and complicated one through no fault of ours or the seller however, the service offered by Steve at Lawlors was incredible. Steve ensured we were updated with every development in the long chain which was continually revealing issues, only delaying completion. He not only was keeping us updating but supported us fully throughout the purchase, guiding us and taking the initiative to resolve the problems arising. Steve ensured he was communicating with everyone involved in the chain which kept us reassured and encouraged us to hang on for as long as we did. At no point did we feel we couldn't reach Steve and he was prompt at returning calls if missed even if it was out of office hours. We have now thankfully completed the purchase and are grateful for the assistance we have received from Steve at Lawlors. Thank you Steve for your efforts and we look forward to keeping in touch.

Also very good communication which helped overcome challenges and progress our property chain as quickly as possible.

They were quick with their responses and had all my paperwork approved within a week of visiting the property. We managed to get approved all within a week and kept in contact throughout the process. Everyone I dealt with were friendly and professional, they were able to help me with any questions I had. Overall a seamless process without fault.

Whenever i have a problem with anything i can always rely on Georgis to sort it out ASAP - i speak to lot of estate agents and she is by far the most consistant i have dealt with. 16th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)Had an amazing afternoon tea experience. It is very expensive, but worth it if you are on a vacation or special trip! You get refills of all sandwiches/scones/pastries included in the price. I asked for extra scones to take home with me to my hotel for breakfast the next morning (they were the best scones I’ve ever had with delicious clotted cream and jam) and they happily did so in a beautiful packaged box - at no extra charge. The food and service are top notch

Henry’s experience in selling homes shone through and he was a pleasure to work with. Bronte was proactive in keeping me updated, was always reachable and helpful, and provided timely responses to my many queries.

6th Jul 2024 (21 days ago)Beware! This company do not care about tenants or their welfare. They failed to settle their own dispute with the landlord, who then turned on me to recover her losses. They basically lumbered me with a psychotic landlord, and Instead of dealing with the situation, chased a tidy profit out of a very ugly situation they caused in the first place. Don't be mislead by other positive reviews... They're probably all good if all goes well and their banking their commissions, but if there are any complications they'll leave you high 'n' dry. They're simply not a good company, and their contracts are worthless pieces of paper unless the clause is in their favour. This machiavellian organisation are a disgrace to their industry. They caused me untold stress and cost me a fortune. They should not be allowed to trade. I’d strongly advise you steer clear.

We didn’t go ahead with our purchase in the end due to the seller’s timeline not matching our own, but wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Right-Step who were honest, helpful and generally gave all-round great customer service

We were first time buyers and are hugely appreciative of the honesty and guidance Paul gave us during the offer process, unlike many SW London agents! After our offer was accepted the 5 star service continued all the way through to completion where Paul was very helpful, professional and responsive in dealing with various matters. This resulted in a very smooth exchange/completion. We cannot thank Paul and Moveli enough!

I haven't had to contact them for maintenance concerns yet, so I can't comment on that. But if that goes as smoothly as the leasing process, we'll be just fine.

29th Jun 2024 (28 days ago)I just wanted to highlight the amazing customer service I received from Annabel and Grace at Elliott James Loughton. Throughout the process they were exceptional in communication and understood all the processes. I felt everything was under control and their experience really came through. I was very impressed with the swift nature of their work and above all kindness and customer service I haven’t received anywhere from other letting agents, ever. These staff members in particular went above and beyond to ensure a smooth process and I was very impressed. I hope the company can reward these individuals for displaying gold standard customer service. I will certainly recommend Elliott James Loughton. Annabel and Grace are experienced, have excellent communication skills, excellent telephone manner and exceptional customer service skills. It really meant a lot to me so I wanted to commend them on their skill and excellent work ethic - I found them to be customer first and efficient on their approach to everything and above all the pair are very hard working, kind individuals. Thank you again!
