We’ve had the pleasure of working with George, Leah, Svetlana, and Helga at B&S over the past 12 months, and we genuinely cannot fault their service, friendliness, expertise, empathy, or professionalism. They have been nothing short of exceptional.
From selling our previous home to purchasing our new one, they managed every aspect of the process—truly everything. No request was ever too much, and their dedication was unwavering throughout.
While many hesitate at the idea of paying a 1% agent fee, I can say without hesitation that they were worth every penny—and more. George, Leah, and Svetlana expertly handled both the sale and purchase, keeping us informed, answering every query, assisting with valuations and inspections, and ensuring we felt supported at every stage.

Our buying process took a while but the people at Butler and Stag were incredibly helpful, patient and friendly throughout. David managed the viewing process and agreement with the seller. He was not at all pushy, very informative and afterwards always willing to do further viewings (e.g. when we needed to take measurements etc). Helga managed the after bid agreement process and was massively supportive in coordinating the seller, their lawyers and hackney council to move the deal forward. Thanks to her hard work we managed to exchange and complete before the stamp duty changes, so we are very grateful for her going the extra mile and being very patient throughout. Having been renting for a number of years we have had a lot of different estate agents and property managers. Butler and Stag were by far the best we’ve had, in particular, our property manager Lauren was excellent. She was always easily reachable, friendly, helpful and efficient. Whenever we reported a maintenance issue it was dealt with in good time and during one period where we had disruption from neighbours she was understanding, provided good advice and ultimately helped us to resolve it.
As tenants it’s quite common to feel forgotten about or unimportant, this was certainly not the case with Butler and Stag and we’d like to thank Lauren and the whole team for making our time renting a property from them as enjoyable and stress free as possible.

I sold my flat and bought my new one using B&S for both transactions. It was a long and arduous process, through no fault of theirs, but they were efficient and supportive throughout and kept in touch at all times. I found them very easy to talk to and helpful in making decisions about which properties to look at, which to offer on, how much might be acceptable etc and they were particularly good at making sure my best interests were met. I’d 100% use them again and recommend them to anyone.

The guys at Butler and Stag are brilliant. We not only purchased our property through them but also sold through them. When Chris sold us our house it was like we were dealing with a real professional, he was really helpful there was no pressure and he was always open and honest with us.
He then went on to sell our house alongside Charlie and we cannot fault them, they helped, they listened and however tough the conversations were they tackled them head on.
Chris gave us fantastic advice and took time to listen and guide us during the sales process.
Charlie went above and beyond finding us removal companies and doing his upmost to get our house sold.
The service was outstanding and the communication was on point. Every one of our calls were returned on the same day (sometimes minutes after).
If we see a house for sale with Butler and Stag we know it is priced correctly and the service received will be industry leading.
If they cover your area only use them.
We will be using their lettings team for our rental properties too which goes to show just how much we trust them.
