As I landlord, I had the pleasure to know Andy Banner and have him work for me for a number of years, who really is exceptionally experienced and professional. He is one of the rare individuals in the letting space who not only has the talents and skills, and an uncompromised attention to details attitude, but also always has the ability and vision to see and understand matters from different angles and manage any situation towards an excellent outcome.

After a few disappointments along the way we finally moved to Winslow
with the help of Wilkinsons. Catherine in particular has been wonderful throughout the process. Nothing has been too much trouble, even though the commission may be heading to another agent, which is a shame. The care with which she goes about her job is admirable. Wilkinson’s is a story of two halves. The first half, namely Susan & Catherine are very pleasant and helpful and were supportive throughout a difficult house purchase. However a lot of this was spoilt by the complete lack of customer care and attention by their colleague Andy. Twice we visited their agency and on both occasions it felt like we were intruding. On today’s occasion it was to pick up the keys for our new home. Not only was there absolutely no welcome, there was also no care and consideration that this should have been a special and exciting moment for us. Andy did not know the keys were ready for release. This I could forgive if he had offered us a seat, maybe a coffee and warm welcome and assurance that he would resolve it. But no. We got ignored, we got to hear him being very rude and leaving a rude and abrupt message for Catherine. Once he’d decided he would release the keys we got stomping about the office whilst he searched for them, only to find they were already on his desk. I’ve had better experiences buying a coffee!
I left this review on their Facebook page with 3 stars, thinking that someone might have been in touch, but we’ve heard nothing until today when they emailed to ask if we would leave a review. Because of this I’ve downgraded to 2 stars. If we ever come to sell I wouldn’t use this agency.
Paul and Steph found a buyer for our house and looked after the sale right through the process. Viewings were conducted on time and professionally with timely feedback. This team demonstrated integrity, honesty and professionalism throughout the process.
I’ve never seen swindlers so shoddily disguised as estate agents in all the years I’ve been renting.The only thing missing from these guys is a pencil moustache and a cat to stroke. Get ready for the fight of your life if you want your deposit back. They will contest everything from scratches that require Hubble to actually spot to marks on your oven hob because you dared use it! Spot on a curtain? £50. Microscopic scratch on a radiator? £50. Dirt on the window? £50. Speck of dust on the floor? Boom! £50. I tried hunting for the pixels that showed the marks in the photos they sent as evidence but most of the time it turned out to be dirt on my actual computer screen that I was seeing! Please read the online reviews about these guys before you consider renting from them. I wish I had. We’re not the only ones with a similar experience.
