8th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)Spent six months purchasing a property with Park and Bailey where the Seller pulled out just before exchange. Lots of half truths, poor communication and structure.
20th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)It is hard to know where to begin. I found the attitude of the senior staff at the Banstead office to be arrogant, misogynistic and bombastic. Despite often making major errors such as leaving the back door unlocked after a viewing or leaving lights on in the house so when it got dark the house could be seen from outside or on one occasion leaving the list of the day's viewings for the agent with names, addresses, emails, key codes and price limits on my breakfast bar- there was little or no humility or apology but rather a feeling that they were always right. They tried to pressurise me into reducing the price after just 3 weeks despite it being the middle of August and when they gave information to my ex husband that was not helpful I phoned to state it had caused an issue and they said, "It isn't my fault you are going through a messy divorce". They lacked all compassion, care and professionalism. I will never recommend them or go into their office ever again. It is interesting to note that when the house did sell it was not them that showed them round but myself (as it was a Sunday) and if it hadn't been for the estate agent I was buying from (Andrews) being so brilliant chasing up and down the chain I honestly think we still wouldn't be moved now.

Everyone has been considerate and understanding of nuances and requirements, and helped us navigate a complex and emotional process with professionalism and competence. Both Gavin and Callum have exceeded our expectations and they’ve done a phenomenal job for us. Highly recommend working with them!

All staff have technical , sales and legal knowledge and are just always “ on it “ , they always know the current situation and the next step , always think ahead for the Client.
Achieved asking price in record time.

The reason for this review is that, from the Off, they were helpful, professional and informative.
The usual estate agent things were as I expected, very good. Due to holidays within the company, I started dealing with Lee Harding, the Coulsdon branch director.
I found him extremely personable, professional and helpful.
There were some survey issues with the property, to which I emailed a long list. Lee responded straight away, thanking me and telling me he will review the issues and respond accordingly.
Nothing different there you may say.m, but I think that Lee decided to take the lead in this matter, as the issues needed careful handling.
His responses were first class, dealing with each issue separately, thoroughly and leaving nothing open to misinterpretation, which during house buying and selling I needed..
He would take my calls and deal with any concerns I had, as good as treating me as the client.
Unfortunately, there were also issues with building works next door to the house I was buying, which had been vacant for some time. These were not apparent to me when I viewed, but will likely lead to court case to be resolved.
I was on the phone to Lee daily, it was never an issue for him to take my call, but more importantly, he gave me his professional opinion and sound advice, which he didn’t need to give. He liaised between the owners and myself regarding the issues, whilst protecting them as his clients.
He took time to allow me to visit the property a number of times, which was time consuming for him as he was a busy person, but he was always happy to oblige.
Ultimately, it was his overall handling on all the issues I had, that were the sole reason I didn’t pull out which would have been easier and walked away.
The sale went through and Yes, I still have the issues to face, but I am happy that I got the house I wanted, which I maintain was solely due to Lee’s input.
