I’ve was very impressed with Oli at Sutton branch when I approached Gasgoine - Pees in my search to buy a flat. Oli was polite and came across as very professional which put me at ease . From the moment I contacted Gascoigne Pees to the time I had my offer at the asking price they were Helpful, Professional and efficient.
They suggested an open day would be the most effective process for my personal situation.
Nigel came to the property initially and explained the whole process.
Jessica helped with the paperwork and kept me up to date through the process on every detail and Emma conducted the many viewings.
The whole process from information gathering to getting a validated offer was approximately Two weeks.
I would definitely recommend Gascoigne Pees to anyone looking for peace of mind and Results.

We’ve been letting a flat in Redhill under management by Gascoigne Pees Countrywide for 5 years. Since Jon Claustres was appointed to the senior branch manager in 2019 their service has been greatly improved. Jon has supported us sometimes even exceeding a remit area as a letting management team. When two vagrants recently stayed in the building Jon strongly complained on behalf of us to the building management company who would be helpless as usual. Likewise, when we have any issues in the letting business Jon always gives us professional supports and advice.
We’ll stay with Gascoigne Pees Countrywide as long as Jon and his team are there.

Puppets in the hands of Landlord. Trying to blame their incompetence on tenants for the repairs.
Changed 3 associates for handling my deposit return and everytime they quote different amount for deductions. All the three aren't aware what they spoke to me. Total chaos. Still my rent deposit is stuck.
If your letting agent is not countrywide, you are the happiest person on the planet. Run away in opposite direction if you see this company board anytime.

Extremely disappointed with their deposits division. I will give them a zero star if I could. We checked out of a property and have not received our deposit back. I rented my apartment from Mann Lettings in Sutton for just over two years and I can honestly say they have been nothing but highly professional throughout this period.
More recently, I had some difficulties during my property purchase and found myself in a very stressful situation where I potentially may have had nowhere to live, having already served my notice to quit. I spoke with Hayley Bosdet (Senior Lettings Co-ordinator) and explained my issues and concerns and she was excellent and quite frankly, exceptional in her approach. She completely understood my situation and anxieties. Following discussion with my landlord (and I'm sure some advocating on my behalf from Hayley), I was reassured that my accommodation was secure until I needed it despite the fact that it had already been readvertised.
I have had experience of a terrible letting agent in the past, so I really cannot emphasis what a relief this was. Hayley is a breath of fresh air and is a great example of how a letting agent should conduct themselves, particularly when it comes to dealing with good and reliable tenants.
I can't thank her enough for her empathy and compassion at what was an exceptionally stressful time for me.

Here is the story and I will let u judge. I called up Mann lettings a week back about a property for rental. That property was live on the website for 2 hours when I called. When I spoke to someone I was told that there has been a lot of interest in the property and the earliest that they could do was 6 days in future (clue no 1) to which I agreed. A day before the visit I was called and told that they will have to cancel my appointment as the person currently renting is not available at the date and time to allow access to the property and they don't know when is the next availability (clue no 2 ). In the same breath I was told that 'luckily' they have another property in the same building but the rental is 150 pounds more (clue no 3). Although I could not find 'that' property advertised in any of the rental portals.
Luckily for me I have not given notice to my landlord so I have a place to stay although I might be at disadvantage while searching for property but I am wondering if there is a person who is desparately looking for a property and does not have enough time would that person give in to a stalling tactics and maybe at least agree to an appointment to visit a flat which is higher than he/she originally budgeted for and might be forced to up his budget, definately yes. If this is true then some of the lettings agency might be frauding guillible people with this modes operandi. For me this was surely not a pleasant experience.

Having had bad experience with Cubitt & West and Barnard Marcus we decided to give Mann & Co Sutton a try even though my friend warned me about her bad experience a couple of years ago.
After signing up we were pleasantly surprised to have viewings before it was even online. Chevali Perry is bloody brilliant and a hard worker - shame the same cannot he said about Graeme & Tarek. We had a buyer but it fell through - not the fault of Mann & Co but just as well we had verbal notice as soon as it happened as the letter took nearly 3 weeks to arrive on our doorstep and was dated 30th October.
Chevali was ready to have a couple of Open house events but their system was down that week so she could not email any contacts on the list and she was going on holiday the next week. When I asked Graeme about the Open House for the following Saturday, nothing had been arranged except for one viewing with Tarek and one on another day with Graeme.
I then had to chase Tarek for feedback on the viewing, something I never had to do with Chevali. I made it clear to him that this was the exact reason (no communication) which made us leave the other agents and that he needs to pull his finger out.
Graeme spoke with my husband to advise an Open House would take place on 3rd November so I cancelled the birthday celebrations for my husband so the house would be tidy as I was going to have a lot of family come to stay.
Chevali returned from holiday and knew nothing about it. I called and asked Graeme about it and neither he nor Tarek had done anything. We were furious and when I told Graeme ‘you can tell Chevali was away and how good she is’ his response ‘that’s her job to get the viewings’.
Needless to say we gave notice but was surprised to have a call from the photographer to arrange a visit to take new photos to possibly generate new interest. That made us think about our decision to leave.
We agreed a day and time but was surprised to get an email from Graeme the next day asking us to approve the new photos. When I spoke to him he then advised there would be no photographer as they were using some of the extra photos from the original photo session - fair enough I thought.
Unfortunately all Graeme did was take 3 existing photos of the SAME 3 rooms already online but with different angles. He then told me they were uploaded to which I queried why as we had not approved them. His response ‘they uploaded themselves’. Clever photographs :)
Mann & Co have an asset in Chevali Perry. Chevali would call at short notice to ask if she could tag a viewing of our house to one she was already on. Going the extra mile and even offering to tidy anything out of place as it was short notice. Mann & Co need to seriously look at the Sales Managers - they are letting Mann & Co down and based on them I would not recommend Mann & Co. Chevali is an asset to the company and I hope they realise this.

I am still looking at properties but from an initial query point of view, Mann were a fantastic starting point and would reccomend their staff.

We have just sold our second family property by using Mann Countrywide in Sutton, having been entirely satisfied the first time round. Again, they did not disappoint in any way. A thoroughly professional operation from first interview with Craig Lawrence to exchange of contracts yesterday. A nice group of really friendly and contientious people who work together seamlessly and are efficient apart. There were no weak links; messages were passed on and calls were returned. When the extra effort was required to make certain things happen, they made it, sometimes at cost to their personal time. It greatly helped that they had good rapport with our solicitors. We can't praise them more highly. Even a smooth sale - and both of these went pretty well - can have their 'moments' but these lovely people - Ben, Janene and Aaron - were always there and calmed nerves when it was necessary! We are about to embark on the adventure of our lives; new home, location and careers and that we will shortly be there is in no small way down to the Sutton branch of Mann Countrywide. The team at Mann took thorough care of us and our move. Our search for a property involved speaking to many other estate agents and we found them to be slimy, arrogant and in some cases downright rude and nasty. The team at many were the polar opposite. Warm, friendly, genuinely nice decent people that were so professional for every step. They kept us well informed and helped us through some of the more challenging times. I couldn't recommend any other branch more highly than these guys they're wonderful.

By far the most professional estate agents in Sutton. I did a day of viewings and met with most of the estate agents in the area and Mann came out on top by leaps and bounds. They came prepared and had all the answers to the questions I had to hand (whereas other estate agents either sent their "saturday girl" who knew nothing about the properties or came unprepared and didnt really take my buying as seriously). The buying process continued to impress me. Highly recommend.

Having out grown our current property, we sought to sell and buy a bigger property. As first time sellers we really had no clue where to start neither did we know what important questions we needed answered before putting our property on sell. While shopping around for an estate agency to sell our property we were contacted by Mann Countrywide among a number of other Estate agencies all seeking to help us sell our property. We invited several to come value our property and truth be told we thought all were equally good. What stood out for us with Mann Countrywide was that they were extremely thorough. Jo, one of the Mann Countrywide staff who came round to value our property made a very serious and impressive first impression. Even before she started explaining what her expertise was she shared very useful tips on how best to move and sell at the same time without or with very little stress. God knows how much we welcomed those tips. Having three kids all under the age of four, the last thing you need is added stress of selling and moving home. While explaining Jo made us understand that the whole process is not as stressful as it actually sounds. In that short time she also shared very useful contacts that we might need in the process. She then went ahead to explain her expertise. Jo was very knowledgeable about what was selling and how, and more impressive she also talked about the support we would get from Mann Countrywide throughout the process up to when we physically move to our new home. In particular she stressed that Mann Countrywide's main goal is to ensure that we move to our dream home – after that statement we knew that this is the agent we wanted to go with since their priority was getting us to our dream home. We are currently in the process of putting our property on the market while we find our dream home at the same time and so-far so good. Mann Countrywide has kept its promises. They are constantly in-touch, they are working with us to get the best offer for our current property and also working with us at the same time get our dream home. The communication is more than excellent. All our many questions are being answered immediately either by a phone call or by email or both. Although we have not meet all the team, we have communicated with a number of them over the phone and email and they are all friendly and easy to talk to. So far we are very happy customers. We would very much recommend Mann Countrywide. We shall be updating review as soon as we get to our dream home:-)

We approached Mann Countrywide to sell our flat, and we can say from the start till the end the staff have been extremely helpful and professional, we were able to find a buyer in less then a weeks time and since after they assisted us smoothly with the process in spite of the delays that were caused by our solicitors.
I would say its not always a question about money, but the service one get for what you pay, the whole team in Sutton is an asset to the company and the star is Janene followed by Stephanie and Ben, because of them we could sell our flat so quickly and move into our new house and since then couple of our neighbours in the block also used their service. We can never think of having a second thought for not recommending Mann Countrywide Sutton Surrey. Great Team. Best Wishes.

DO NOT USE TO SELL YOUR HOUSE. It is agents like these that give the professions such a bad name. They do not live up to their promises, will stop at nothing to get and keep your property. Even when I cancelled my contract (14 day cooling off period) they harassed me with a visit (with flowers!) calls, and texts to try to get some viewings. And would not take my property of the internet or return my keys. Their fees are exhorbitant, but v negotiable!
