Always very responsive, professional, and understanding. I've been asked to provide feedback on an area where they can improve, but I really struggle to think of anything. I strongly recommend this agency. If you take care of the property, there will be no issues.- 10th Apr 2026 (24 days ago)They were friendly, professional and responded quickly to my enquiries. They had someone in mind when I instructed them and in fact a sale was agreed before it even went on to the market! Their sales progressor was then invaluable in making sure the process made it through to completion.

30th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)Rude! And cannot organise themselves let alone update records! I booked a valuation which was then rearranged as they double booked! Fine it happens but you’ve lost the potential sale, then a guy called jack / Jake calls and after I tell him what’s happened he takes it personally and hangs up after getting a strop on! It might not have been him who booked the valuation but you work for the same company and yet I’ve had 4 calls afterwards them trying to book another valuation, update your records stop calling and organise yourselves better! Ridiculous, after the fourth call and I’ve told them the feedback won’t be great you get oh ok!- 24th Feb 2026 (10 weeks ago)Joe has been absolutely outstanding throughout my entire mortgage process. As a first-time buyer, I had a lot of questions and uncertainties, but he guided me through every step with patience, clarity, and professionalism. It may be a scam office as another person was at the listed house we wanted to view also being stood up! The associate that contacted us was named Bella?- 3rd Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)I had been renting a property in Ely for the past 4 years or so through Cheffins and have had nothing but a positive experience. They have always been super quick to respond to any communication and extremely professional while doing so. They were also incredibly understanding, respectful and accommodating of my personal situation. I especially want to call out Bev H who I spoke with the most, she's a real star. Should I decide to rent again in the future or have a property to rent out then Cheffins will be my first choice.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

14th Apr 2026 (20 days ago)We haven't had to go through the nightmare of moving house for over forty years but we survived the emotional roller coaster this time round thanks to Stanton Hockett. Not easy for two eighty year olds I must admit who simply want to go live near their daughter up north! We approached the move with trepidation but their approach from the outset was totally re-assuring and empathetic. Tom started the ball rolling with his no fuss approach and we then graduated to the big guns, Brad & Gavin, after they found us a young couple to buy our treasured family home. They might have been a dating agency so suited to us were our young buyers. As apparently often occurs our journey through the legal processes to exchange and completion took us between peaks of elation to valleys of frustrated despair and back again but they were there to support us when we needed it. Thank you Tom and Lewis, thank you Gavin and most of all thank you Brad for your impeccable service to us in the sales progression stage. We are on our way now and feeling a whole lot better about our future.

I knew she was working to sell my flat for me, it wasn't listed and left! All the staff were helpful and performed their role impeccably. Communication was easy, through Whatsapp and the street portal. I can highly recommend their services.
