The entire house-buying process was handled incredibly quickly and efficiently, which made what can often be a stressful time feel smooth and straightforward.<br><br>They were always responsive and took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly, no matter how big or small. I really appreciated how clear and transparent they were at every stage, keeping me updated and ensuring I understood exactly what was happening. I definetly will recommend this firm !
14th Apr 2026 (20 days ago)My partner and I recently bought our first home through Baker Wynne & Wilson and had a very disappointing experience. Communication was poor throughout, it was difficult to get through by phone, and when we did, staff often seemed frustrated with our questions rather than helpful or reassuring. We also received little to no updates during the process. On completion day, we were told the agents would call when the keys were ready, but after several unanswered calls, we had to go into the branch ourselves, only to be told the keys had been there for a while. When I queried why no one called me it was brushed off. Overall, we felt unsupported as first-time buyers and would not recommend this agent.

Claire was calm and professional throughout the whole process, as were her colleagues when Claire was away etc. We cannot thank you enough for all the hard work and we wish you well for the future.

I can't say I was the easiest of clients following a bad experience we had as a buyer by another local estate agent, so you could say I needed abit more reassurance. Sarah made the process a smooth one and not at any point was I paranoid this might fall through. We received a sales memo 20th October and exchanged today. Great experience and cannot fault them! 15th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)No one really talks about the back end of the process when selling your home, when things don’t go smoothly it’s actually critical to the whole thing! Downers certainly are high achievers in this area of expertise, Fraser, the office manager is exceptional and I honestly don’t think we’d have completed the sale without him. That’s not a discredit to the rest of the team who were also professional & helpful, exactly what you need. We just can’t thank Fraser enough, we would highly recommend them ??

We were in a chain selling my partner’s flat, and Winkworth communicated well with our solicitors and the estate agent we used to sell the flat. We managed to complete in a really short timespan considering we were in a chain. A stress free and quick process. Highly recommend. If we sell our home in the future Winkworth will be at the top of our list- 17th Dec 2021 (4 years ago)We recently purchased a property through Savills that should have been a smooth process based on a small chain however for various reasons outside our or the buyers control it was far from it. Hayley was an angel and acted to keep our sellers calm and ensured we finally reached a completion date. Would absolutely return to Savills if we are brave enough to move again in the future!

If other members of staff at Halls share even half the fine attributes of Caroline Dennard, then I suspect that the organisation itself deserves five stars too. At a very difficult time in my life, following the death of my wife, Caroline was unstinting in her labours, her empathy and her professionalism. She did more to honour the memory of the remarkable wartime RAF officer, whose memorabilia I was reluctantly having to sell, than I could ever have hoped for, even arranging for additional research by Doctor Steve Bond. Her hard work and kindness both yielded great dividends, for she not only helped soothe my suffering soul, but also bettered the auction's guide price. Most important, she put my beloved step-father's memory and medals into the hands of someone who would understand and value them.

When our first buyer fell through, Bethan was able to get us a better deal with the second buyers and it only took two days to sell the second time. A big thank for your efforts. Tracey was always there for us following the first sale. She was keen to help at all times answering our queries and progressed the sale most professionally. We can't thank her enough.

They managed our rental for 11 years extremely efficiently, collecting rent, ensuring property was maintained and guiding us through new tenancies and rent increases. Then they handled the sale of the property, keeping us well informed throughout the process. Extremely proactive and productive, and speedy to react to enquiries. We can thoroughly recommend this company.

Joe, Luke and Tiffany have all proved to us that we made the very best choice in selecting them for the job. From the outset, they were professional, attentive and very responsive - replying to all calls, messages and emails on the same day. They matched us with the perfect buyers and the sale proceeded at speed. They answered our queries, managed all the viewings, and pointed us in the direction of all the relevant people to support our sale and removal. Nothing was too much trouble. The sale went through smoothly leaving both sellers and buyers extremely satisfied. I would definitely use their agency again and recommend them most highly to others. 27th Mar 2026 (5 weeks ago)THE RUDEST ESTATE AGENT I HAVE EVER COME ACCROSS IN MY LIFE! Usually you would expect to be welcomed to to a property you are looking to buy, invited to park on the drive so you can see what it would be like to live there. Not Claudia Romano, who arrives 1 minute before the appointment, shouting out of her car door, "I'M THE ESTATE AGENT SO I GET TO PARK THERE!". And then, once we have driven around and finally found somewhere to park, has the cheek to tell us that we're late and we will not have a full appointment - when we were there first! Prospective sellers - avoid at all costs!!!
