I dealt with Waseem from the very first appointment, and he was extremely professional, helpful, and efficient throughout the entire process.<br><br>Everything was handled so quickly that the move into the apartment was completed within just a few days. I cannot thank Waseem enough for his honesty, professionalism, and outstanding support.<br><br>When we reported an emergency issue, Waseem was absolutely amazing. He acted on it immediately and showed genuine compassion and understanding towards the situation, which was especially important as my father is elderly.<br><br>His quick response, kindness, and willingness to help made a huge difference during a stressful time. I have NEVER experienced such excellent service from an estate agent.<br><br>Thank you so much to Waseem for making the whole process so smooth and stress-free!<br>Thank you for looking after my elderly father.
5th Jun 2022 (4 years ago)Communication needs to be improved and relevant staff are difficult to reach or contact during the day. I keep having to ring several times and leave messages for the agent dealing with the sale progress and other information update. I'm not sure if to do with lack of staff?
23rd Apr 2022 (4 years ago)I found them very ineffectual in the process with constant mistakes our house seems to have the sale going through but it was my husband that showed people around I believe by the interest that we had from day one that their estimate on the value was too low and you have to chase them for every piece of information

25th Sep 2019 (7 years ago)This estate agent was worse than useless, very rude and slow. Messed me about with the house I was supposed to buy and move into and was I chargeed £2,500 before they could take the property off the market. Then the sitting tenant refused to move out and it took over 6 months get our money back and only achieved this by report ing them to the Property Ombudman. Lost close to £ 3,000 in findin g an alternative property to buy and had to take them to court. Now they have movrd from their Orsett road premises after they got expelled from the property ombufsman membership and are nowhere to be found... BeEWARE AND DO NOT USE THEM AT ALL
18th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)I’ve just purchased my first property with Stevenette and I can’t recommend them enough! They were informative, kept me updated with the progress and when there were delays with some unforeseen issues, they communicated with me throughout and followed up with all relevant parties so that the process would be as smooth as possible. Despite being a solo first time buyer, I felt they treated me as a loyal customer whilst also ensuring I understood what each stage meant and explaining anything I wasn’t sure of. Would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to friends and family!

14th Feb 2026 (8 mo. ago)I have been a tenant for almost 7 years in one of their rental properties in Harold Hill. I have never had a problem with them. They have responded quickly and very professionally to any problems I have had. I expect, or hope to carry on living here indefinitely?

2nd Aug 2019 (7 years ago)I’ve dealt with a fair few agents in my time in the process of developing properties. Called this branch to get more info on a property for sale and was met with the most unhelpful, uninterested person on the end of the phone full of snarky comments. I’d be livid if a firm treated one of my perspective buyers like that, so I guess it’s no surprise the property ended up reduced. Word of caution to anyone looking to sell, much more enthusiastic/accessible agents around. Also find it quite suspicious how the positive reviews are from accounts set up specifically to review this firm...fraud much?

We had Nick value our property and within the week we had not only sold ours but found and accepted offer on our dream forever home too. We had Gemma as our agent throughout and she couldn't have done any more for us if she tried, she made the stressful experience of moving house so much easier and helped us so much, from advise, to mediating between all the relevant parties, she was fantastic. 29th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)Ian Jackson is a fraud. He knew my tenant is a fraud and claiming universal credit. There was an extra child living in my flat which I wasn't aware of. He is not answering any of his emails, messages and calls. He has possession of currently 10 months of rent money and will be more if my tenant doesn't move out. I am in the process of evicting my tenant but have no response. Everyone needs to report him to Report Fraud. He is no longer a part of Safe Agent and The Property Ombudsman said they can't do anything? How is this even ok? It is not ok?

29th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)Extremely concerning experience with one of this company’s van drivers.<br><br>I was cycling in a designated cycle lane when the van repeatedly veered into the cycle lane and directly into my path. The first time, I had to veer off the road onto the pavement at speed to avoid being hit and potentially going underneath the van.<br><br>I then rejoined the cycle lane, and the driver again veered into the cycle lane and turned left directly across my path, completely cutting me off and coming extremely close to hitting me.<br><br>This was extremely dangerous and erratic driving. I was genuinely concerned that I was going to be hit. I have reported the incident to the company and will also be reporting it to the Metropolitan Police.

25th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)I would like to sincerely thank Mahfuz for all his help and support throughout the sale of my property.<br><br>The property was on the market for over a year, and the sale unfortunately became a long and complicated process, including an earlier sale falling through. Despite the difficulties and delays, Mahfuz remained supportive, approachable and committed to getting the transaction completed.<br><br>He was always available when I needed to discuss something, liaised with the relevant parties and worked hard to keep things moving, particularly during the more difficult stages of the transaction.<br><br>After such a long and stressful process, completing the sale was a huge relief, and I am genuinely thankful to Mahfuz for his persistence, professionalism and support throughout the journey.
