For the future customers of this company, please be alert and aware of fictitious property viewing. You should check whether someone gets the opportunity to view the property far ahead of the day you are going to do it. My partner and I enquired about a house in Exeter managed by Legg & Co. They let us know that the property viewing is planned for Friday and Saturday, and they assigned me to the property viewing on Friday morning.
However, nobody was at the house at the appointed time. When I called the office, They said there had been property viewings on Tuesday, and all of them applied for this house, so they closed the property viewing process. Several flaws in the service process came up.
First, I am not sure why they did not let me know the change of status on property although they had abundant time from Tuesday. The attitude of an employee whom I called is also an issue. Admittedly, the property market is not a daily business so it may not be likely to contact the company Legg & Co for property in the future. Nevertheless, for the long-term business, it is not a good attitude to approach it like "whatever": our property is going to be sold, so it is done, do you think I care?... Read more
