I would absolutely not recommend using this estate agent. The level of communication throughout the sale was extremely disappointing. Urgent matters regularly went unanswered for days, and I often found myself having to chase for updates rather than being kept informed proactively. As the sale progressed, it felt like I was doing the majority of the chasing myself, constantly contacting solicitors, buyers, and other parties in the chain just to keep things moving towards exchange. For a service that you are paying for, this simply shouldn’t be necessary. We were repeatedly told that “this is the final thing needed” and that exchange was imminent, only for another issue or delay to suddenly appear. The process was plagued by delay after delay, causing unnecessary stress and frustration for everyone involved. Selling a house is stressful enough without having to constantly chase your estate agent for answers and progress updates. Unfortunately, this experience fell well below expectations.
