Extremely disappointing experience with Scott Fraser. We attended a scheduled viewing only to find that the agent didn’t turn up. We ended up being shown around the property by the current tenant, which is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. When this was raised, the response and apology from Liberty were minimal and lacked any real accountability. Despite this, we remained serious and submitted an offer. We were clearly told by liberty we would be contacted if there was an opportunity to improve it. That contact never came. Instead, we later found out the landlord had accepted another offer without any communication to us, despite expectations being set. The entire process was poorly handled, disorganised, and lacked even the most basic level of professionalism or courtesy. As someone who has previously worked in estate agency, it’s genuinely surprising to see this level of service still happening. Experiences like this only reinforce the negative stereotypes around the industry. Would not recommend.... Read more

We found the branch very organised and helpful. The company has a good communication system that keeps you up-to-date with developments. Once we found a buyer, they seemed eager to get the deal settle regardless of the low offer. This left us wondering why pay a higher commission when any other estate agency would have sold the property too for a much lower asking price. Graeme Pierce at Thomas Merrifield, Kidlington is a top, top professional. Estate Agents have traditionally taken a lot of stick with their fees being seen as easily earned. Not on this occasion. Graeme managed a difficult sales process with patience, with calmness and with superb people skills.
