- 7th Dec 2024 (7 weeks ago)Absolutely brilliant! These were our vendors estate agents and without them the whole process would have been a nightmare for us. We were only a small chain and we used an online company to complete our sale. What a mistake that was! The online company could not be contacted easily and you waited days for a response. Gascoigne Halman were at the end of a telephone. They dealt with all the questions we had promptly and responded to any messages within the day. They kept us up to date with how far along in the proceedings we were and even chased up our estate agents when we could not. Our estate agents actually only contacted us once. I have no hesitation in recommending Gascoigne Halman to anyone. If we ever move again they will be the only estate agents we would consider using. They are friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I really can’t praise them enough.
4th Apr 2024 (9 mo. ago)Just drove 30 miles through traffic to get to meet them as arranged for 5 30 ,my wife drove not quiet as far around 22 miles got there bang on time to meet my wife at the property waited till 5 55 got a text off Lydia to see if I'm still attending the viewing I texted back to say I've been hear since 5 30 as you arranged don't no were to park my wife as had a argument with a resident as we was in her parking space (not a great start ) but there was no one to meet us there to tell us anything anyway it got to just after six and I tried the buzzer on 31 the loom and the guy there was renting and said no one had rang him to arrange a viewing and the place was a bit of a mess so I would have to go back to mai son has

Finally got a call back and was told they would check with the owner and come back to me. Property is completely vacant and so god knows why it’s been a week and and no one has called me back Wouldn’t use them Nasreen

We bought a house through this estate agency and it was the most professional and smoothest transaction. From the initial viewing to completion we were kept informed. The team are completely on top of their game and there was almost always an immediate response. If that wasn't possible, someone would call back within the hour. This was all delivered with the utmost transparency. Thanks to you all and best wishes for the future.

I was never pressed to accept a lower offer for my house and eventually achieve the price I wanted- 16th Aug 2024 (23 weeks ago)After trying to contact multiple local estate agents to find a property to rent, I finally had the pleasure of coming across Bridgfords. A week after viewing and I am now in a property that is perfect. This wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Lian. He has been great throughout the whole process and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided. 100% would recommend to anybody who is trying to find a property in the rental sector, you will not be disappointed with the level of service and care shown.

Jemima is our agent and she is truly outstanding!!! From initially listening so attentively to what we wanted, our time and budget restraints she went over and beyond and found us a beautiful property!! She demonstrates without a doubt that she truly wants to help and clearly cares about her clients!! Nothing is too much trouble, communication is superb and we really do feel we are in a “safe pair of hands” given how stressful the process can be!!! So far everything has been seamless and we look forward to the completion of our property and can confidently say, that Jemima will no doubt continue to be a huge support!!

I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. However, a genuine home buyer would NEVER try to renegotiate their formal offer based on cosmetic concerns. " This is exactly what they did so this is a red flag and would indicate you are NOT dealing with a reputable company!
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
