From my initial contact, they have relentlessly kept great communication in what is a difficult market, to find our "forever house". Tom and Edward's experience is second to none. If we are ever in the market for another house (hopefully not, as my wife has promised), I would have no hesitation in calling Savills......10/10

Andrea, who showed me around the property, I found to be very honest and informative. I would thoroughly recommend this company for buying a property from or selling a property with them.

He provided a realistic valuation and once we put it up for sale he already had several buyers lined up and we received a suitable offer very quickly. The progression of the sale was well looked after and we managed to complete in a reasonable timeframe. I’d recommend Lancastrian estates and use them myself for any future sale.
16th Nov 2022 (2 years ago)Farrell Heyworth have to be amongst the worst letting agents in the North-West. I have been forced to give them 1 star as it is impossible to leave them ‘zero’. They have habitually made mistakes in the management of my property, costing me hundreds of pounds over the 9 years they have ‘managed’ the property. I am finally rid of them, to discover they cannot locate the house keys. The employee who undertook the inventory failed to return the keys to the office and went on annual leave! They have failed to take final meter readings because they allege they cannot find the meters, despite mentioning the meters in the inventory report and taking them on many occasions in the past. There is absolutely nothing I can say that is positive about FH. Use anybody but them, if you need a letting agent!
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.
24th Feb 2025 (12 weeks ago)Houseclub have been absolutely incredible! Tom initially came out and valued my house. He was extremely informative and made me feel at ease with the whole process. Sarah took on my first house sale and was really helpful and quick to get the ball rolling. Within a week, she obtained full asking price before it even hit the market. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, our buyer pulled out of the purchase just weeks away from completion. However, the manager John took my call straight away and instantly put me at ease. By the end of same day, my house was on the market with viewings booked in shortly after. Within two viewings we had another offer. Cerys took responsibility of the second house sale and she saw this process through until completion. Cerys is an incredible asset to the team, I couldn’t have got through the process without her. She managed to get me full asking price and made the effort out of her hours to tell us the news. She was consistently in touch with me for any updates and was always at the end of the phone for any queries I had. We dealt with another estate agents for the purchase of our onward property and they were terrible. I could come up with a list the length of my arm with issues we had with them. I couldn’t believe how polar opposite Houseclub were. The agents as a whole are so knowledgeable and extremely personable making you feel like they are fully invested in the sale of your property. I can’t sing their praises enough and would recommend them to anyone. If I was to ever sell again, I wouldn’t be considering any other estate agents! 18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

It’s been a rollercoaster of a ride with lots of ups and downs but we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel and we’re so excited to get into our beautiful home. I’ve never experienced customer service like it. Completely exceeded my expectations and gone above and beyond in every aspect. Selling and buying at the same is incredibly stressful but you’ve held my hand throughout this (I think I’m bald now haha) and I am beyond grateful. Thank you so much for all your support ??????

If I had questions Hannah either knew the answers or found out to let me know. The whole experience of using Jennings Estate Agents was wonderful and stress free.

I recently sold my house with the incredible help and support of Hayley, Laura, Julie, and the rest of the team. The entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. Hayley kept me informed at every stage of the process, providing updates and answering all my questions, no matter how big or small. Their knowledge and dedication made the process smooth and hassle-free; nothing was too much trouble for them. I received plenty of notice for viewings, and they arranged everything, so I didn’t have to be at home, sending any feedback promptly and handling even the smallest of details for me. My house was on the market for just a few days before I accepted an offer, which speaks volumes about their effectiveness! What truly sets iBay apart is their genuine care and how they treat you like family rather than just a number. Their collaboration with my solicitor made for a seamless sale of my house. Their service and communication were exceptionally professional and proactive, which was a refreshing change. 14th May 2025 (8 days ago)Possibly the most bizarre experience I've ever had with a lettings agent. I phoned to enquire about 2 properties to let and secured viewings for each on different days. The first viewing time rolls around and nobody shows up, I wait for half an hour after the viewing slot and try to call the office multiple times but was on hold for ages. I thought "fair enough, sometimes mistakes are made" and that I'd just call them in the morning to rearrange. I had my second viewing the next morning that went totally fine and subsequently managed to get hold of someone from the office. As soon as I'd begun to explain who I was and what the situation was they abruptly put the phone down on me mid sentence... Totally bizarre behaviour, it seemed like the woman on the phone realised who I was and just decided she couldn't be bothered dealing with me, especially considering I got no call back, no response to my emails or voicemails. I just wanted to view a flat so to be met with at best ignorance and at worst blatant unprofessional behaviour was a little bit jarring. I sincerely hope this is just a big misunderstanding and will edit my review if it's put right but until then. I'd say avoid unless you want to waste two days trying to book a viewing only to have the phone put down on you for no apparent reason. ????
