Elliot Oliver really are next level! Their online presence is solid. As a tenant I have a dashboard that always me to track receipts for rent, time left on rental agreement and raise maintenance issues. Speaking of which since moving in six months ago I have had a problem with the bathroom extractor fan (fixed within a few days) and a blocked sink (fixed same day). Throughout the whole process of reporting an issue through to remedy I have felt as valued and valuable to Elliot Oliver as I am sure there landlord clients do. This is truly a two way relationship, very few agencies make their tenants feel as important to the business as landlords. Special note to Vanessa for handling the problems I reported so professionally and promptly, with regular updates and check backs on progress, total superstar!.
Also I'd like to second the comments on here regards to Karolina and her brilliant support getting through the rental process to become a tenant.
She kept me updated throughout and the process was super efficient. This is an operating model all agencies should follow. Highly Highly recommend these guys, they're brilliant.
It has been six months since my last dealing with Elliot Oliver but I still feel very angered by the way we were dealt with by this company to be fair and honest if we did have a problem during our time then it was dealt with professionally and quickly, it was not until we had given our notice that the attitude toward us changed.
My wife was several months pregnant and the agent turned up to conduct a viewing that was not confirmed whilst my wife was in the bath. On letting themselves in and discovering this you would think that they would make there apologies and leave but not so instead whilst my heavily pregnant wife was trying to dress herself they stood outside the bedroom and asked if it was ok to have a look inside.
We also had some major issues on our departure, despite having the house professionally cleaned and the oven professionally cleand we choose not to use the recommended agents of Elliot Oliver as we had found better pricing from professional outfits elsewhere. On the checkout date I attended the property myself only to be told to leave and come back in a couple of hours once the inventory process had been completed.
On my return extremely minor points were raised all of which could have been resolved during the checkout If I had been present during the process, a bit of dust here and a cobweb there was pointed out and a bill of over £100 was proposed as we hadn't used the preferred supplier, ther were various other small issues as a dent in the wall from a door handle which had been filled and painted blinds in rooms not removed that were left in situ for the next tenant but both were not to an apparent sufficient standard.
The whole process resulted in a series of emails and battles for common sense to prevail, whilst still having over £250 deducted from us a lot less than the original £900 demanded left a very bitter taste, please be your own judge but a very unpleasant experience for us.
No communication what so ever. Could have had the queen view my house and I wouldn’t have known. Got no feedback until I chased them for it.
Much better estate agents out there who charge a lot less commission
Absolutely wonderful customer service, me and my partner needed a property super fast as we are due our little boy in 3.5 weeks. They not only went above and beyond but they found us a beautiful 2 bed apartment in a gated community but also got it for us well under budget. And have had carpets changed! Very happy with the service provided by sure lettings amazing company and staff...!!!
The staff are racist and sexist. Told me that that an owner did not accept children for this property and lied by saying that it clearly says that online WHILE IT DOES NOT.
