Despite getting a buyer originally through them (before the chain fell apart), we were disappointed with the actual service sometimes. Absolutely terrible at answering their phones for hours at a time sometimes, and they started to ignore emails regularly as well after a while. Their selling fee is eye-watering and in my opinion does not need to be so high, especially when they arent even answering phones or emails. Their fee in 2017 was £1800 and it is now £3000 for the exact same package. This is not inflation, this is money grabbing. And if they tell you they have a list of buyers for you ready and waiting, I'd take this with a pinch of salt as they haven't - the people on this list will all come back to them to say they aren't looking any more. They then allowed our original buyer to pull out last minute with a rubbish excuse which caused a lot of issues and upset. I would no longer trust Bagshaws with selling in future.... Read more
