8th Jan 2025 (5 weeks ago)Having used the services of Baker Wynne & Wilson in Nantwich to sell my property in September 2025, I would highly recommend them to any one wanting to sell a property through a well established and knowledgeable Cheshire based Estate Agency. It is with the highest commendation that I thank Kayleigh, Oliver and all the other week day and weekend staff who remained patient, determined and persevered with our efforts to get the property sold in Crewe. It must also be mentioned that they managed to put up with me during the selling process and still managed to laugh at some of my comments. Taking everything into account over the selling period, my rating for Baker Wynne & Wilson is 5/5 and when I come to sell another property, they will be the only agent I call. Finally, despite this praiseworthy review, I know it will not get Kayleigh and others the pay rise they deserve. Many thanks BW&W and bye for now. K from Crewe

We had a particularly negative experience with a different estate agent when trying to buy previously but Lisa, Sharon and Jonathan were all fantastic in every interaction we had with them. They were diligent, communicative, efficient, open and a joy to deal with. They really went above and beyond to ensure that our purchase completed successfully, and to an expedited timeframe as we needed due to our circumstances. I would not hesitate to recommend AJ Reid to anyone.

18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
16th Oct 2024 (17 weeks ago)Right from the offset I felt at ease with Barbers. Everything about the process of selling my late Aunts property was explained to me upfront. It was quite a lengthy process due to probate and the property not being in the best of condition. There were many viewings however for most there was just too much work needed. The team never gave up and enthusiastically worked hard right through to completion after the property had been sold. On behalf of the beneficiaries I can’t thank Gail and her team enough for everything they did for us. Thank you all.

They are prompt in getting your house on the market, realistic with their valuations but more importantly the level of support they offer is fantastic. Our sale/purchase took longer than anticipated and they helped every step of the way and kept us positive throughout. If we ever move again we would definitely go back to Lewis King.
