15th May 2026 (29 days ago)Brilliant experience with the girls in Leary and Holmes. I had used them previously before the change in ownership and I have to say the new version is so much better. More modern, and so much more in terms of marketing. All round improvement and staff are really friendly and approachable. Would not use anyone else now.

23rd Feb 2026 (16 weeks ago)I can't praise the Arnside office of Hackney & Leigh Estate Agents highly enough, I have had dealings with estate agents before when I sold my parents property, however I had never previously purchased a property for myself. I was in safe hands when I did, from start to finish they kept me aware of everything that was going on at every stage of the process. This service gave me a feeling of reasurance and confidence in the company and staff! I don't know if they are lucky recruiting the right staff or have a fantastic training courses, but whatever it is keep it up you are doing the right thing.

They have managed the major upgrade, which has not been easy with an old cottage, pulling all the trades together for the new phase as a holiday let. Special thanks go to Sue and Felicity for all their incredible hard work, parcel pick up and so much more! We look forward to working with Amy at Dales and Lakes Getaways, visiting Sedbergh again ourselves, popping in to Cobble to catch up! Lovely friendly people in a beautiful little town. Thank you.

When the sale fell through, family members encouraged me to look at an alternative agent but I felt it was sensible to continue & things improved dramatically. I was very grateful for all the agent did to complete the sale.
