They drew up excellent brochure with good photos, regularly made it a featured property on websites, and dealt with all the viewings (there were many) in my absence but kept me fully informed with helpful feedback.

29th May 2020 (6 years ago)I have used the services of Carter Jonas in both Cambridge and Suffolk. They have repeatedly delivered excellent professional service when the markets have been both buoyant and not. They go the extra mile and are incredibly accommodating. I only once used another agent who over promised and then under delivered. I changed to Carter Jonas again (they were very gracious) as a result I had a buyer within days of the instruction.
13th Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)Absolutely horrendous. Went for a viewing, and the room key didn't work. I was told that the viewing would be rescheduled, but nothing. I tried reaching out by calling and messaging, but no response and it's been many days. Extremely inconvenient ????????????

10th Jul 2026 (5 weeks ago)A warning for buyers and sellers.<br><br>Unfortunately, like many estate agents in the UK, this branch appears to prioritise its own business interests over both buyers and sellers.<br><br>In our experience, if you don’t already have a property listed with them or aren’t using their additional services (such as mortgage brokering), it can feel like you have very little chance against buyers who do. Even when you do everything right as a buyer, it feels as though preference is given to applicants who generate the agency additional commission through multiple transactions or add-on services.<br><br>Sellers should also consider whether they are truly being presented with the strongest buyer overall, or simply the buyer most commercially beneficial to the agency. That could potentially mean losing out on better offers from genuine buyers who really love the property.<br><br>Buyers should be aware that being in a strong position alone may not be enough if you are not also using the agency’s wider services or related transactions.<br><br>While all offers legally have to be passed on, we’ll never know how fairly or enthusiastically competing offers were presented, and the overall process left us with very little confidence in the transparency of how things were handled.

With their guidance we found things a lot easier to understand. Full marks to Harvey Robinson who i would highly recommend.
