We have had a good experience with Abbots especially through our dealings with Garry. Our property rented out in under 24 hours of being advertised. Garry responds to emails swiftly and ensures we are happy landlords.

Brilliant service, I use Damian and Jess to let out all 5 of my properties, each let has been quick and stress free. All the tenants have been full time working professionals and always look after the property like their own! The team at Abbotts are very knowledgeable and have a great knowledge of the local area, they have always been so helpful with any questions I may have. I would defiantly recommend the fully managed service.

Unprofessional and rude! Had a viewing with the woman called Jessica who first of all totally forgot about our scheduled appointment! So after calling many times managed to rescheduled for later in the day. This is after we has driven 20 miles to come and view the property. When we did arrive for the viewing with. We were told to wait outside while the property was being viewed by someone else, so with her running late was running, that meant we were running late into our own plans too! There was no apology or anything, very unprofessional in my opinion.
Apon finally viewing this house and asking questions about the property - she didn’t have a clue and didn’t know anything about the house! Her favourite line and only answer was ‘Errmmm I don’t know’.This is not what is expected when you are viewing any property.
We really liked the house, but this whole experience put us off completely and we decided not to go any further. Very disappointed! Abbot's might be wise to consider sending her on any future vewings!

We had a terrible experience with Abbotts as tenants. If you are looking to rent then I urge you to look elsewhere! The property we were renting from them in Barnby (Beccles) went up for sale whilst we were renting and they told us we had 2 months to vacate which was fine. Except that wasn't the case when it came to the final days of that two month period - Our home was packed up, our daughter had changed primary school and we then had to give a months notice in writing before being able to finally move on! They told us we have two months to vacate over the phone and we were not aware at the time that this should have been given in writing until we did further research. I believe, in retrospect that this was a tactic used to take as much money from us as possible and for no good reason. We were great tenants who always paid the rent on time and kept the dated property clean and tidy, inside and out. It was our home and we were very happy there. To add insult to injury they attempted to keep our entire deposit (£1500) for decorative purposes (even though the property was up for sale and not in great shape when our tenancy began, we actually improved the property immensely) and they wouldn't allow us the contact telephone number/email/address of our landlord! We had to get legal advice from Shelter and they made a stressful time for me and my family, so much worse! The inventory from the beginning of our tenancy was never given to us and had conveniently gone astray when we asked for a copy. Luckily we found the landlords address in our tenancy agreement documents and we wrote a letter to him directly (without any cooperation from Connor, our point of contact at Abbotts). The landlord was, thankfully, a really nice chap and was completely unaware of their dealings with the deposit!!! We got our deposit back after communicating with the landlord directly. Leads me to believe they were trying to keep the money for themselves personally...they are a disgrace and I would seriously look elsewhere if you are considering renting, buying or selling with Abbott's.
