6th Mar 2026 (21 days ago)Jack and Amber at Burchells went above and beyond their role to ensure we had a smooth and stress free renewal of tenant at our rental property in Ilkeston. They continually updated us at all times and were extremely understanding and sympathetic of our requirements, down to fine details. Something as simple as leaving a specific light on after viewings, as we'd requested. We would not hesitate to recommend them , the follow up care is equally as attentive, they are always available to assist in any issues. They certainly don't take your business and run. Very professional at all times. Thank you for all you've done.

24th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)These guys will choke u you for a viewing, tell the landlord to humble himself a bit there are many apartments in nottingham, they wanted me to sign a contract which include a rent increase, first time i have ever seen, will treat u badly. Edit: they have really tried to come back to me, and ali was a very respectful and sincere guy and apologized for everything and took alot of time to be clear with me, ali the best guy

6th Feb 2026 (7 weeks ago)Phoned up to enquire on a property they had advised for sale met with a complete lack of interest from the staff member who was not only rude but dismissive, fortunately the house is advertised with another agent where we have been able to since view the property with no hassle! If you are thinking of selling or looking to buy completely avoid these bunch of clowns.

They have been absolutely brilliant throughout every stage—whether buying, renting, or selling a property. Their team is professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to making the whole process as smooth and stress-free as possible. They kept me informed every step of the way and always went the extra mile to ensure everything was handled efficiently. It’s rare to find an estate agent you can trust completely, but Smartmove Homes have proven themselves time and time again. I wouldn’t consider using any other agent in the future. 8th Dec 2025 (16 weeks ago)Rented a G and O property a few years ago, never again. Awful to renters, only care about the landlords. When the boiler broke on rented property, the agent laughed that we didnt have hot water and heating in winter. They promised rubbish would be cleared before moving in, it was not, it was disgusting with trash everywhere. They were super critical of us and anything we did but when the property leaked due to their and the landlords negligence, they said it was just one of those things and we're slow to resolve despite a huge leak. Electrics we're not safe after leak and they tried to say that the landlord had fixed it, and only relented when I asked to see the landlords electric safety qualifications, suddenly a qualified engineer came and fixed the issues. Tried to take every penny of deposit unfairly, but I managed to argue it back with actual evidence, which they lacked. Avoid.

On all occasions they have been friendly, knowledgeable, and highly professional throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, with all questions answered clearly and in a very timely manner. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and they made the whole experience straightforward and stress-free. I would have no hesitation in recommending Belvoir Lettings to anyone looking for a first class, professional letting agent.

Despite not purchasing through them, they were still always there every step of the way to support us, answer any questions and give advice. Vicki in particular went above and beyond and genuinely made the process so much easier for us. Without her doing all the leg work we’d certainly have found the who process really difficult. Would absolutely recommend this estate agents and would personally thank Vicki for all her hard work and support

None of this you'll have to do that we have someone who can do that THEY JUST DID. 24th Feb 2026 (4 weeks ago)Awful estates agents. Emails get ignored, when repairs need doing. Only wanting to take the rent each month. Left me with a damp moldy ceiling for over a year. Was without heating in sub 0 temperatures. Avoid at all costs. If I could leave less than 1 star I would. When we lost 2 family members in 4 week Patrick said life goes on! He's a complete waste of space.
