“I would like to express my thanks to Streets Ahead for helping me resolve my electrics issue in my flat on Sunday afternoon. I am a tenant and called them and they resolved my smoke alarm issue completely.I know it was a Sunday but honestly didn’t think I would get any help at all. Thank you Guys.”
The worst rental experience I've had. From ignoring compulsory fire safety works mandated by environmental health to unannounced visits and rude, incompetent staff, I do not understand how they maintain a business. I can't express how bad the rental experience was, avoid at all costs
Addition in response to the business owner. You mistake necessity for willingness. I remained in the property for 2 and a half years due to financial restrictions, something you used to your advantage in your horrendous treatment of the property. As I can provide letters from environmental health showing the landlord accepted liability for not performing necessary works and 2 years of emails that weren't actioned, which part of my claim do you doubt?
If you wish me well then why am I having to pursue my damage deposit through single claim as you refuse to respond to it and release it?
I will happily release all relevant information publicly and link it in future comments if you continue to deny your appalling service. It is all documented!
Avoid like the plague - highly disputable company. We fell in love with a property put an offer in and Scargill Mann neglected to inform us that another offer put in after ours had been accepted! We were not informed about other interested parties upon placing our offer nor informed that our offer had been turned down. I had to chase them three times to get any answer and obviously they knew they'd operated unscrupulouslybecause I was informed that my case had been passed up to the manager who would call me later, I'm still waiting for that call. I found out about the other offer from contacting the vendor directly, who was extremely shocked at Scargill Manns tactics. They were not acting in their clients best interests as I was more than prepared to go to the full asking price if I'd been given the opportunity to negotiate.
I made the mistake of renting a house in Littleover for £770pcm from these thieves for 2 years putting up with 22 concurrent days without heating that I had to get the council involved, and 8 concurrent days without a working toilet on a previous occasion - which they thought were reasonable times.
When i vacated, I had no rent arrears and left no damage other than wear and tear. They sent me a bill for £30.00 to replace a bath plug and £100.00 to replace a Wilko' Shower rail which fell apart.
They made up policies and threatened me in emails with their lawyer Cc'd to which they soon backed down when I took them to the Property Redress Scheme after discovering that said policies were made up and the owner tried to bully me that he did not have to disclose the terms of business he had with me were breaches of data protection.
Their administration and record keeping is atrocious and would urge anyone to think twice or be desperate to rent a property through Scargill Mann.
I later discovered that they did not lawfully inform me that my deposit was held by the landlord and not with the Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme they told me it was!
After a slow start (listing your house in school summer holidays...!) I got an offer for the amount I wanted. Joe was always at the end of the phone and email, even chasing my onward purchase as well! Very friendly and prompt with all enquiries. Thank you, moving before xmas!!
I would highly recommend Haarts estate agent.
Francessca was very professional and friendly. Communication with them was excellent, we were kept informed of all developments.
All the staff were excellent and very knowledgeable.
We felt that they were looking to secure the best price for the.property.
Easily the best estate agent we have dealt with,we won't be using any other agent to sell our existing properties.
A big thank you to all at Hearts in Derby.
Recently sold my house through Ashley Adams Derby. Excellent customer service through out. Becky has been very helpful and professional in her work. I am really pleased with your company. Thank you.
Amazed at their customer service, abysmal!!! I can't believe the waiting time to view a property, one that is empty and been on the market for a while, is 6 days! Surely their vendors can have no idea that this is how they hope to sell their property....although it might answer why the property has been for sale for so long! I've made two calls in the last 8 hours, to see if there are any cancellations, but no enthusiasm or interest in our dilema shown. The housing market in the area is currently slow, as there is not much on the market, goodness knows how they cope when it's busy. As proceedable buyers I am at a loss at what to do next......

Very pleased. Sold the house on the second viewing!
Very prompt at coming to take photographs and write up the sales details.
Conducted viewings for us.
Nice professional company, only negative was a bit pushy with viewings and times, They tell you rather than ask. I know the buyer is a customer, but we are also customers, and we’re the ones paying them at the end of the day.
But apart from that really good, would recomend, they make your house look really good, and represent it really well.
