I cannot thank Fox & Sons Peacehaven enough for their pro active help in helping me sell my property through them.
They were very helpful & despite their Premier Solicitors not being very communicative , Danielle Mann Administrator/Negotiator did a splendid job from her office at Peacehaven.
Danielle dealt with my selling directly & was updating me & the buyer regularly.
Danielle & her staff were really amazing and very fair to me & the buyer. Last minute queries were immediately attended to.
I have no hesitation to give Fox & Sons & Danielle Mann 5 out of 5 marks.
Adam Denton provides a very efficient service and is a pleasure to deal with. I was fairly daunted by the whole rigmarole and risks around letting but he made it seem easy. Recommended.
We recently bought a property being sold by King and Chasemore and can honestly say they did as little as possible once we had made our offer. They seem to have a massive turn over of staff, and there was no cohesion between their offices or indeed between staff members. Staff were untrained or gave that impression and very unprofessional. They seemed to have no idea of what was going on and on the day we finally completed, they had no idea that completion had taken place, they had no keys, and when that was finally sorted out by our solicitor they advised us that we would receive a letter saying we had withdrawn from the purchase!!! The only reason given for this was to say that this sometimes happens courtesy of their head office! I could write a book on the subject of king and chasemore but it would make for very poor reading!
We have just had completion on my late mothers bungalow, and would like to thank Brett and his team help for all their help, advice and excellent service. We were always kept fully informed on all matters through to completion. Would highly recommend this estate agent.
Phillip Mann Estate agents are great to work with, they always work hard to see the transaction through to a smooth and swift conclusion, they are professional but likeable and at the Peacehaven office, Nick, Bryan, Brett and William are all fantastic to work with.
Great estate agents, they really go the extra mile. Kevin was of great help all through our purchase, keeping us up to date every step of the way and helping us with all our requests. 5 stars is not enough!!!
I had an issue with a landlord not repaying a deposit. David was very helpful.
This review is based on my experience from 2012 (didn't know Google allowed reviews hence delay).
Back in 2013 I had a property in Roderick avenue that I had listed with this estate agents and was longing to move back to my family over othersidr of Brighton.. Well I put my property on the market about October 2013 and after speaking with a guy called Mark about the plan of sale I headed forward with the proposal..
After three months I ended up ripping up my contract with cubitt and west and kicking them out of the sale because I never got any updates, I never got any feedback and was left wondering when and IF I will ever A, get a viewer Or B, get a possible offer.. Well I had only one person view my property.. I think because they didn't show it as right for them I was just filed away.. I may not have had a mansion or a property that is worth hundreds in commission but surely a sale is a sale regardless..
Having been totally neglected by this estate agents and completely ignored.. I tried calling them and calls would be told would be returned and never were, I was told that fresh photos would be taken to see how we can get things going forward.. Never happened.. I had not much in savings at the time so as knew photos would be taken I spent my savings to redecorate the entire flat...
Was a waste of time and effort as nothing occured.. Well thankfully I ended up returning the for sale board and re assigned a contract with king and chase more opposite who got me a sale after two weeks and a completion date 12 weeks after sale.
Based on this experience I have vowed in life to A, never consider viewing a property ever that is selling through cubitt and west (even if they change agents) and B, never buy a property through this agent...
Now let's go onto how I obtained the property.. Back in 2010 I saw my property advertised in the window and enquired about it. I explained my predicament about my ex landlord being repossessed and I had savings in place and spoke with an advisor here who carried out a viewing and I agreed to offer a price I was assigned a solicitors known as Blakemores solicitors (who are now struck off) and I have never visioned being homeless but for two to three months of my life thanks to being recommended a pointless waste of space solicitor by cubitt and west, I ended up being homeless sofa hopping etc..
It was the worst experience I have ever encountered in life.. Only reason I went with them for sale was because at the time I saw more sold boards than the rest..
