Good estate agent but there should be a clause whereby if the house sells quickly you don’t pay as much for the service. Mine was only on for two weeks before selling but have to pay £5k approx. Some houses for a similar price take a year and a lot of work on behalf of estate agents so that should cost more!!

We had to take our property off the market as there were virtually no properties suitable for us to view in the area we wanted to move to. The housing market is quiet at present. We didn’t have as many viewings on our property as expected. PhillipMan tried hard to sell for us.

Absolutely awful! Would not recommend
couldn’t sell the property for 5months on the 6th month blamed our large bed and sofa which apparently made the property smaller! Every week we had more that 5 cancellations which was a regular occurrence, our impression was that they were booking viewings with us which had always cancelled the day before, had a secret shopper go in who said the agent stood on his phone and did not try and sell the property to them, we tried another agent who sold the property within a month after 3 viewings that actually happened, they seem like a company who wait for the sale instead of actually marketing it, just avoid them if your planning on selling

This is the second house I have sold using Phillipmann (in particular, Brett Ransley) and this time was another excellent experience. Brett is so thorough and communicative that you have complete confidence in the fact ‘he’s got your back’.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him - he is the polar opposite of the cliched reputation of some Estate Agents! First class all round service.

Philip Mann had our property on the market within hours of their initial visit and generated 6 viewings by the end of the following day. I understand that we are not to identify individuals in this review but we were very impressed with the agent who did the initial visit and who also did the first viewing which resulted in a very acceptable (and successful) offer.

Bryan Holland's was an excellent agent throughout the process of buying this property, he was particularly professional when dealing with the complex issues that arose when dealing with a leasehold property. Bryan was particularly efficient when communicating with relevant parties and expertising the final details of the sale.

I turned to this estate agent after trying numerous agents before hand. Wish I’d tried Philip Mann at the beginning! They are in a different league to most of the others including the marketing of the property and the professionalism. Sold my property quickly and Brett and Bryan kept on top of things throughout and didn’t forget about the sale once.

Phillip Mann is the "go to" estate agency in the Peacehaven area. They kept me informed throughout the process and effected a sale with great speed. they didn't mind helping me out with meter readings and various other tasks and were always polite and courteous. I had used a different agency previously to no avail but PM pickled up the gauntlet and the property flew.
