James was absolutely fantastic when doing our viewings, as first time buyers it’s whole new experience for us.
James was the only estate agent we’d come across that chatted to us about what options were out there for us at the moment for young people/first time buyers.
He was really open, approachable and knowledgeable. As well as patient and helpful with any questions or info we required.
Also, David the manager of the Peacehaven branch came to our current property to value it.
He was very open and honest about the current market and was happy to talk through this process with us. He couldn’t have been anymore helpful!
We appreciate this and how smooth the process thus far with Cubitt&West has been.

As a first-time buyer I was extremely anxious about what the experience of working with estate agents would be, but these fears have been immediately alleviated by meeting the staff of Cubitt and West, Peacehaven.
Shirley has been immensely helpful; she has been patient (especially in answering my endless questions), offered expert advice, and has demonstrated an exceptionally high level of professionalism and trust that my family and I are really grateful for. Never too busy to speak on the phone, Shirley has been particularly accommodating in arranging viewings, helping me understand the different conveyancing processes, and prioritising what is important for me in a property.
At no point has she made me feel under any pressure; in fact, quite the opposite; it has been Shirley who has advised I take my time, revisit, compare other properties, take time to think etc, and this has helped instil confidence in my own decision making, and has involved her colleagues for further input when needed. I cannot recommend this service highly enough, especially for new clients like me; Shirley has actually helped make this experience enjoyable and exciting.
The branch manager David also has an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience, and his input and support has secured an offer on our dream property.
I am incredibly grateful to them both.

Lewis Austin has shown service levels above and beyond the norm. He has discussed our needs and actively looked to find us a property that is suitable.
