Looking at their portfolio, it makes sense—they seem heavy on Middle Eastern properties whilst their UK listings sit unsold for about 100 weeks. I need a responsive, dedicated London agent. Went elsewhere.

They helped us find a one-bedroom flat exactly according to our requirements, and the whole process was completed in less than a week. Wayne and Vanessa were absolutely amazing throughout the journey. Since I was busy with work, they communicated smoothly and professionally through emails and messages, keeping everything clear and stress-free. As this was our first time renting a flat, we had many questions and moments of confusion, but they patiently guided us through every step and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. Their support, responsiveness, and professionalism truly made the experience comfortable and hassle-free. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable and supportive letting agency. 12th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)I would really recommend you avoid this place for your own peace of mind. I was initially allured by the very low commission rate. It all started off ok, but by the end Shaz was ignoring my emails and calls for weeks on end. Provided me with a tenant who trashed my apartment and left it in a state. I really reccomend more expensive high street estate agents as in the long run this will save your money. He still hasn't even responded to my text because he failed to arrange council tax payment for the last year.

Their website is almost unusable and unprofessional stating terms like 'Hicks deals with literally hundreds of property transactions every year'. The limited properties on sale suggests this is not the case. Likely due to their lack of effort when presenting someone's home for sale. Look at a Hicks advert on a major property selling website as an example and this is clear. Limited blurred pictures, with poorly worded descriptions. It is pointless enquiring about a property they advertise as they never respond. I feel quite sorry for the people selling with them.
