20th Dec 2023 (7 mo. ago)We purchased a house through Beals Estate agents, our journey started early November. We met Emily at the property, she was professional and offered really great tips, on the potential of the property etc. She was straight to the point on what the seller wanted, which put us in the best position. She rang the day after the viewing and we put our offer on the property! Emily was our go to, she was thorough and constantly requesting updates from us, the seller and the lawyers. The whole process will be done by early Jan, I want to say Emily being on the ball has really ensured for us to get through the interim period quicker than prev estate agents we have dealt with. Emily has been a pleasure to deal with, always has a smile, friendly and great communication! I couldn’t have had, a more positive experience and she is a credit to Beals. Thank you!
3rd Feb 2021 (3 years ago)When looking to secure a tenancy we were not kept up to date or informed if our offers had been accepted or unsuccessful, after emails and calls not returned we went elsewhere and secured a property with all checks completed in 48 hours. Do not recommend

17th Apr 2024 (14 weeks ago)Extremely let down. 0/5 Chris, the claimed landlord, was firstly very kind and keen to get me moved into the property. He had previously shown me another property but because I am NHS staff he had a property that was more fitting as it housed NHS workers only. He was very vague about the details I needed to provide during the viewing of the property and failed to mention any details of the deposit payments. I was then emailing with Justine Shaw for the application to move in and was asked “If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.” but when I did ask they took days to get back to me and then failed to respond to the actual question. They then pressured me for the holding deposit of £150, so I sent this over to secure the property, but when I did, I received no response until 2 days later when they told me the property was no longer available! When I phoned for an explanation they were very defensive and rude and told me they had given the room to rent to someone else! There was no communication and they had no cares or concerns on how this may have affected me and had nothing but ridiculous excuses. Now seeing the previous 1/5 star reviews, I am concerned I won’t get my money back. The company is extremely untrustworthy and have a terrible attitude towards their clients, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this retail company.

28th Mar 2024 (17 weeks ago)After a disappointing experience with another local estate agent on a previous property we asked several different agents for valuations. Most were similar, but we were impressed by Pearsons knowledge of the area, and their strategy for marketing. Chris was positive and realistic, and took great pictures of our house, really highlighting its best features. The whole team were great, providing quick feedback from prospective buyers. They made sure they knew our property and I’d have no problem recommending them. We have now found a new home, also through Pearsons and have been impressed by them as buyers as well as sellers.
29th Mar 2024 (17 weeks ago)We initially asked Eckersley White for a probate quote which they were able to provide very quickly. They were also able to explain the sales process as we were inexperienced in the matter. When we were finally in a position to sell, they were able to again step up at very short notice over a holiday period to get the house up for sale as soon as possible. The sale went through within three months and we have been very happy with the advice, expertise and friendly attitude of the Eckersley White staff who kept us fully informed throughout.
9th Jan 2024 (6 mo. ago)We enjoyed working with Reeds Rains. The Southsea team were very friendly, provided feedback on viewings and progress on the eventual sale. The house went on the market in a challenging environment and Reeds Rains did their best to attract buyers and maintain our morale! They also provided sound advice when needed.
26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

There was minimal telephone contact from them and sometimes our emails went unacknowledged and questions in emails received no response but on the plus side, their fees were competitive.- 20th Dec 2021 (2 years ago)Sadly I bank with them and I won’t be changing till I find another Alternative which has 0% interest. This bank was much better when it was called IBB!!! Service was much better then! The customer service team on the phone are useless , no knowledge of customer service at all and seem to not care and rude. Their always leaving me on hold for ages and when I get through them they’re unable to help! Always logs me out of the app!! Even though my security details are correct it keeps saying it’s incorrect !! Then it ends up blocking me from verifying with my security details! Tells me to go in the branch!! Only one branch in central London which is far away from me!! I’ve reset my security details three times as they’ve repeatedly done the same thing so I’ve written the security details down to avoid this but unfortunately it happened again!! Open more branches in other cities !! Improve customer service and employ more people who are bothered to work at Al Ryan!!

My husband and myself were inexperienced in letting property and were unaware of all the legalities and issues that it would involve. From finding suitable tenants, to advising on what needed to be put in place and seeing it all to completion, James guided us through the whole process in a timely and professional manner. We would have no hesitation in recommending James.

Even though they were working for the seller, we felt supported and at ease throughout the entire buying process. At every stage, communication was prompt and our questions answered without delay. Overall we were extremely impressed with the reliable and professional service we recieved and how smoothly they made the process seem.
24th Jun 2023 (1 year ago)I'm sure these must be fake reviews. They never invite you to the inventory before or after moving in. Emailed them with issues they missed out on their inventory like hole in walls and they said not to worry as it wouldn't affect my deposit. Never missed rent and around three years later when I hand in my notice, they try to deduct money from my depost for the same holes I was told not to worry about. I had to prove it as I luckily saved the emails. So they came back to me and pivoted their angle and now charging me for other things that were pre existing. Sent me photos of the property with no dates and not resembling anything near what the property looked like when I moved in. Currently waiting for the results of the dispute with the deposit scheme. Scammers beware renters!
23rd May 2024 (9 weeks ago)I had a great experience purchased via Taylor Hill & Bond. Lorna was efficient in getting us booked in to view the property & with the negotiations. Jules & James were also great with the progression, ensuring both sides were chased up constantly to apply the pressure needed to ensure the sale progressed very quickly. Thank you all for your help. We now have our new home in time for summer which we are really thankful for!
19th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Poor at communicating - I had to ask for data from right move. Poor at showing people around- I have cameras and heard a few remarks from the agent that were inaccurate and likely to put people off. Poor during initial conversation- making promises that were immediately broken about a house we loved that they were marketing. Also failed to carry out basic information gathering that we have later discovered is a legal requirement.

19th Jul 2024 (8 days ago)Would 100% recommend Rok Marsh to anyone selling a property!! Our agent Danielle went above and beyond in able to get the sale over the line before the buyers mortgage ran out. Wasn’t a straight forward sale due to coming across obstacles that she and us hadn’t dealt with previously but very quickly obtained her knowledge and understanding of this and dealt with it efficiently. Very confident she will sell for us again in the future.
