18th Jan 2024 (9 mo. ago)I was initially sceptical about placing our property on the market in October however, the reassurance from Gavin and his team quickly erased any doubts and the first class presentation which included over 50 stunning photographs of the house resulted in a sale after only two day's of being advertised. A first class service offering extremely good value and advice and one i couldn't recommend highly enough.

Walked me through the process, explained everything and is just who you need on your side when buying or selling your home. His team at the office were also really helpful any time I called. 26th Sep 2023 (1 year ago)I requested a visit for a valuation at Allen & Harris estate agents and had a date booked. I was allocated an estate agent from the start and he made contact with me by email to introduce himself. This gave me reassurance and comfort that I had a direct contact with an estate agent from the beginning and I didn't have to call a shop and wait to be put through to speak to an estate agent. Due to a change of circumstances I had to change date of valuation and contacted Tony my estate agent to see if he could attend my home that same day. To my surprise Tony fitted me in for a valuation the same day! I was delighted with the service. It was unhurried, straight to the point and most importantly I didn't feel under pressure to choose them. The whole visit was finished within 45 mins which suited me as I had other things to do that day. More importantly Allen & Harris had the best rates compared to other estate agents. Since choosing Allen & Harris I have been in contact with my estate agent Tony nearly everyday asking questions and finalising my plans. Tony always returns my emails promptly and nothing is ever a hassle! I wasn't looking forward to having estate agents visit my house and listen to their marketing spiel but Tony was different and made choosing an estate agents easier than expected. I would highly recommend Tony at Allen & Harris, Stirling.

Their expertise in the local market was evident, and their marketing strategy showed off the property to its best advantage, while reaching a wide audience. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and highly recommend Aberdein Considine to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.
4th Oct 2024 (19 days ago)Absolutely awful company. By far the worst letting agency on the market. The owner must be clueless or downright greedy as they steal people's deposits. So many others say the same thing, and they are literally the reason letting agencies get a bad rep. We left our apartment in immaculate condition, better than when we received it, which we have photo and video evidence of, yet they still deduct money from the deposit, so there is literally no point in cleaning your apartment when you leave as they will still deduct money from your deposit. Louis was also terrible to deal with, taking ages to reply and not helping whatsoever. AVOID.

One of the standout aspects of working with Cathedral City Estates was their incredible marketing strategy. The property was presented in the most appealing way, with high-quality photographs, a captivating video tour, and drone footage that highlighted the external situation of the property, that all served to present the positive features of our home. 18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

He dealt with the selling of our old property and the purchase of a new one and provided a first class, seamless experience from start to finish, the process actually became stress free for us and we were kept informed every step of the way. Would highly recommend!

We have been blown away by their service with how they handled us, especially keeping calm in somewhat stressful situations. We were never let down from Morgan or Rosscoe. Their knowledge of the market and how to navigate through potentially tricky situations always amazed me. I have no issues recommending them to any readers of this review. A massive thank you again for all your hard work, your out of hours emails to keep us in the loop and fully updated throughout the course of our sale.
5th Jul 2024 (16 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
