Barnard Marcus are great and easy to deal with and are extremely helpful. I was kept updated and received advice and recommendations from Barnard Marcus. Nick is very good, responsive and professional.
AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!!!!!!!
A friend of mine had used these estate agent, and was done over when it came to the inventory leaving the property, when they moved in it was one page long, and then when they moved out it was thirty pages long, and i feel the decision they made with the landlord was deceptive and a team effort and my friends had been in the property for over four years so a bit of wear and tear which is normal
the inventory company works in the estate agents favor never the tenants!!!!!
It was an exceptional experience to be serviced by Suganth. I appreciate his effort to find me a proper property. His feedback was very prompt and satisfactory.
I have had the misfortune of dealing with both foxtons in a rented property and now dealt with their sales team as my landlord is selling my current flat. I have experienced multiple rude staff, booking and arranging viewings where no one has turned up and when I contacted them to see where they were, no booking had ever been made apparently. They let themselves into my rented flat without permission when I was not in. Not impressed, really bad services.
The Leaders team lead by Kismet really eased the stress of this move for us. We moved in on-time and thanks to Leaders very happy.
Terrible, complete mess up from start to finish, I didn't get my keys until 6pm on the day of moving, while apologetic, no refund was offered despite the extra costs I incurred due to the ineptitude of the contracts department. I hope to never have to deal with them again.
They were fab with me moving into my new apartment so quickly, especially through COVID times! Everyone was so helpful and gave me all the information I needed - really good experience with Gascogne-Pees. Victoria and Charlotte were especially brilliant, they really made the whole process so seamless. Thank you!
Be very wary letting properties from this agency. The Home Inventory service that they impose created false discrepancies between the sign in and sign out reports, costing us a huge portion of our deposit for fictional damage that Gascoigne should reasonably know was caused by previous tenants. Very disappointing
Laurels estate agents for us has been such a positive experience from the first meeting right through to the successful sale of our property. We were recommended to use these agents by friends and we did not regret our choice. The positivity oozed from them from start to finish and our home was successfully sold within a week. We would highly recommend them for their superb marketing, professional and personal approach to everything related to the selling of our house.
A thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience using Laurels. Rob at Laurels repeatedly let us down whilst marketing our property, Was unresponsive, often not responding to calls or emails. We have some suspicions of being misled or worse, lied to, regarding offers received on our property. I should stress these are suspicions at this stage and investigations into this are ongoing. In our opinion, the poor service from Rob at Laurels cost us a perfect home to move into and almost lost the seller of this home thousands of pounds through loss of a deposit. My personal recommendation would be to save yourself the stress and hassle and go with agents with a long track record of excellent customer service. In Epsom, Cairds are a much better agent in my opinion and charge the same fees as Laurels, or Greenfields in the Surbiton area. Please don’t be misled by the notion that Laurels are much cheaper than well established High Street Agents are this certainly wasn’t the case in my experience. My advice, avoid.
