Appalling company and an absolute nightmare to deal with! Communication was so bad during the sale process that we gave up on them and instead communicated directly with the estate agent for the house that we were buying for information on how the chain was progressing. The owner is also a nasty piece of work. Over a year after completion when we believed that all accounts were long settled they approached us out of the blue demanding a substantial amount of money, threatening us with charges if not paid immediately. No understanding or compassion was given and no acknowledgement of their role in causing this fiasco. I wouldn't use Saxton Mee again if they were the last estate agent on earth!... Read more

My experience with Bagshaws Bakewell was consistently poor from start to finish.<br>Across the full 20?week contract, the property generated only four viewings, and no meaningful strategy, communication, or performance management was provided at any stage. I repeatedly had to chase for updates, no feedback from any viewings, and basic actions, and there was no proactive attempt to address the lack of progress.Despite the clear underperformance, Bagshaws insisted on enforcing the full contract term, offering no flexibility and no review of their service. Even removing the listing required multiple follow?ups before anything was actioned.I have since submitted a formal complaint to the Property Ombudsman (TPO) regarding the service, communication, and contract enforcement.Based on my experience, I would not recommend Bagshaws Bakewell....
