4th Oct 2023 (6 mo. ago)I advise everybody to avoid Carters Letting Agents and local Landlord William Bruce. This year I was seriously ill for six months, resulting in emergency surgery to save my life. During this time they issued me a section 21, and I moved into a new property the day after I was released from hospital afyer being there for 4 weeks, still with two surgical drains attached, and incredibly limited mobility. Being fully aware of this information they went after my deposit and have today been awarded just over 1000 pounds, after the section 21 cost me nearly 3 grand, and rinsed the rest of my savings. During the time I was in hospital they issued notice to my landlord without my consent and before my new property had been confirmed. I questioned this whilst I was in hospital and was told 'not to worry' despite this being a move that could have made me and my 15 year old son homeless, and given on a date that left me no time to have the property cleaned properly. They have made no allowances for my very serious illness desite being fully informed, and created extra stress and financial worry. In the meantime the house has been renovated for sale, and I believe my deposit is paying for that. Their behaviour towards me after 5 years of tenancy has been disgusting, and they have used my vunarability as a tool to extract more money. Apparently this landlord owns numbers of houses in wolverton. Beware.

He is super professional, efficient and excels at ensuring you understand every part of the process. We were provided updates throughout as well as being updated with new rates as they dropped so we could get the best deal and save money, Edward really went above and beyond. Our new mortgage is now in place and the whole process was so simple and smooth since finding with Edward. Thank you for all your help and great service!

Everyone working on the lettings side have always been friendly and efficient throughout my tenancy. The amount of care that they’ve exhibited as a lettings agent has been truly outstanding and I genuinely appreciate it. Queries/problems (albeit minimal!) have always been dealt with efficiently. If you’re thinking about renting a property with Davies and Partners, don’t think twice, they’ll get snapped up quick. I don't want this review to be percieved as so glowing that it sounds fake, but honestly... Teresa and Richard COULD NOT have been more supportive to my partner and I, throughout what was a complex and tricky sale period. There were many external factors, hurdles and unlucky moments along the way, all part of a normal house move I guess. But even at their very busiest times they managed to somehow strike the perfect balance between being professional & efficient, yet remained friendly, attentive always took the time to explain everything to us in words we could understand. Nothing was too much trouble! From Richard liaising regularly with our solicitor, to Teresa coaching us through the mortgage process, to their secretary even collecting the keys to our new house for us (which didn't even involve them!). I didn't think that estate agents like this existed, but they do, and they make "going the extra mile" seem like just a regular thing. Exceptional service in the truest sense of the word. Thank you Teresa and Richard, we couldn't have done it without you.
20th Mar 2024 (27 days ago)They are thief’s, i rented out property from this agency, where fire occurred due to neighbours fault, my propery affected due to that, they promised me to find alternative accommodation and then left me on road without any accommodation, then they didn’t not allowed me to access property to collect my stuff while they given access to thier contractor, when i went for collection at the end after counless calls and emails, i found most of valueable items missing from property, when i inquired from them they said they don’t know anything about it. they were the one only had access to property ,my other remaining stuff was all damaged due to water. Sharon from Leytonstone branch is biggest manipulator, she try to act smart and play political games, i m in process of legal action now . i have instructed solicitors now and i am taking them to the court now i would advise everyone to avoid these thieves. *update* reply to stretton comment Sharon and zita both aware and admitted they took photos of the item and would like to match , then later on zitta said she didn’t took photos of right angels,i can post all emails correspondence screen shot here. Alternative property link they are claiming they provided those were taken from zoopla which i could have find myself. They are absolutely joke. I m in process to take this further and definitely expose them and thier contractors.
