10th Apr 2024 (28 days ago)Had an extremely unpleasant experience dealing with Gibson Lane as a buyer. A few highlights: - We had to be very proactive with asking for weekly updates on documents as the sales agent was otherwise not very forthcoming with information - Sales agent assigned to our case had a habit of leaving work around 3:30, so any inquiries (email or phone) past then would have to wait until the next day - Sales agent also would randomly not be in on days without any warning or automated email response (like you would expect), so important emails would go unanswered, forcing us to call to check on inquiries - Sales agent was very condescending in communications, presenting very unfavorable terms while adding "I trust these will be agreeable" or otherwise completely ignoring our concerns - During negotations for period between exchange and completion, sales agent threatened us by saying that "the market has moved on since your offer and the vendor will put the property on the market and we will sell it for more money" - this is verbatim - Despite the threats, the sales agent's manager and vendor backed down in the end, showing how toothless they actually were Please let our hardships be a lesson to all prospective buyers: do not trust anything that Gibson Lane sales agents tell you, they are only concerned with their sales targets and commissions.

Jordanna and Isobel were a fantastic team, with great communication, a solid strategic approach and efficient management of the sales process. Our house was on the market for under a week before it sold and we completed in just over a month. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would use Knight Frank again without hesitation.

24th Apr 2024 (14 days ago)I have both purchased and sold four properties through Chase Buchanan and until very recently also rented a flat via their services. Since 1996 I have called upon their knowledge and expertise and at no time been disappointed. I have dealt with the Twickenham, Hampton Hill and Teddington offices and have always found them helpful, professional, courteous , but also retaining a sense of both calmness and humour throughout what is often a stressful time . Only once did I use local "competitor" and soon regretted it. Chase Buchanan offer an excellent and well informed service. Tom Fleming

Darcey's commitment and care for me and my partner is above the standard, anything we were worried about or had any questions she was able to make us feel better and able to answer any of our questions. I want to also thank Katie alongside for the amazing support and was there if Darcey was busy. Thank you Darcey and Katie, if anyone was to ask where and who to go to on finding a property to rent or buy I would 100% recommend Darcey and Katie at Sunbury-On-Thames. I'm looking forward in settling down at our new property!??

From the agent that sowed us the house, Frank to the manager Tom and all of the team members we’ve been in contact with they are all absolute stars ???? Tom in particular took his time to put me at ease with everything that came across and made this process so easy and truly enjoyable for us. Everything went smoothly and very quick They never failed to answer the phone or to get back to me about anything straight away. We had to deal with many agencies during our search but by far Gregory Brown offer the best and most effective service of them all! I highly recommend them to everyone who is looking for someone that cares and most importantly get the job done well ! 5 starts all the way

19th Apr 2024 (19 days ago)Just a reminder to everyone about how Orland Reid tried their hardest to screw me a while back (unsuccessfully). They subsequently also tried to report my negative review to Google to have it deleted (also unsuccessfully). I still feel so angry about this and feel it's important to warn others about the conduct of this agency, even after some time has passed - here's my original review: AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! These guys tried unsuccessfully to retain my deposit, blame damage on me that was not on any inventory report and charge me for "work" needed to rectify this fictitious damage using their own workmen, whose quotes for work were laughably extortionate (so no tender process/transparency and taking a cut, no doubt). I had to go through 3 months of tenancy deposit scheme adjudication to get my money back. Their staff and, importantly their owner/partner, deliberately misled me repeatedly and withheld information throughout the whole process, making it as difficult and long winded as possible. The intention must have been that I'd just get too frustrated and give up? They were also paid by the landlord to act on their behalf but at the same time claim to be totally impartial (which is impossible).They are solely motivated by money - this scamming must be part of their business plan and I cannot imagine I am the only one who has had to go through this unnecessary, time consuming and upsetting process. If I could give them zero stars I would. if I could take them to court to reclaim money for the amount of my time they wasted, I would. It makes me so angry that "Estate Agents" like this can still exist. There are so many better, more trustworthy and honest agencies out there, there really is no need to put yourself through the nightmare of dealing with Orlando Reid. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! You have been warned!

Sheetal worked with us and our conveyancing solicitors and ensured there were no last-minute surprises. She kept us informed and helped us navigate through the buying process. Paul was always quick to respond and even worked around our busy schedule, allowing us to view the house on a Friday evening. We're now happily settled in our new home, all thanks to Paul's excellent help and support. Highly recommend! A great friendly and helping staff.
15th Mar 2024 (8 weeks ago)We moved into a property in the area and it was a complete shambles. After speaking to George Porter at Chestertons, we were assured it would be fully furnished, but when we arrived, furniture promised in the flat, such as a sofa, was simply not there when we arrived due to previous tenants taking it with them. We were offered a small compensation amount, and when we spoke to Hannah Al-Sayyah Marla and explained it did not simply cover the costs, she threatened to hold the money they offered. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Not only are its fees competitive and fair, I am also impressed by the professional standards and excellent efficiency of its staff and have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this particular firm to potential landlords looking for agents. In particular, I highly commend the services provided by their Mr Rowan Mohan who was outstanding from the very outset. While handling the rental of my London apartment, he was very helpful, committed and resourceful. There was robustness in his advertising outreach and attentiveness in keeping me updated on a regular basis. As a result, he was able to secure a number of viewings and even fast turn-around.
