I would like to especially mention Rachel, the Senior Lease Negotiator, for her excellent work. Rachel proved to be a true professional and guided the rental process from the beginning to the signing of the contract. Her communication was clear, friendly and always timely. Thanks to Rachel, the process of renting an apartment was easy, fast and stress-free. She was always in touch, explaining all the nuances that we did not understand. Richard and Sam at Curchods quickly restored my confidence by listening to my concerns and prioritising both my property and peace of mind. They were professional and knowledgeable throughout, from marketing to carefully finding and vetting the right tenants. Their focus on securing a long-term fit, rather than a quick let, was especially reassuring. Communication was excellent and paperwork seamless. I was kept informed at every stage and involved in key decisions, which made the whole process feel smooth and collaborative. I would highly recommend Richard and Sam at Curchods to any landlord looking for a reliable, proactive, and trustworthy letting agent.

6th Apr 2026 (12 days ago)I have recently been a tenant under HJC managment and purchased a property with them. Having rented for the last 10 years, I have come across a fair few management agents and I can safely say Manique at HJC was the best by far. She was always responsive to requests, efficient and helpful and always pleasant to deal with. When it came to buying a property with them the same service applied - Tuesday was efficient, communicative and worked really hard to ensure the sale went through in a timeframe that suited all parties. I couldnt recommend the team at HJC enough.- 13th Apr 2026 (5 days ago)I don't even know where to “star”t. From the support I received before and after moving in, the Letting Team at Hamptons Kingston has been amazing. Freya, Jodie, Anna, and Victoria have all impressed me with their handling of everything. Their professionalism, presence, and availability have been outstanding. Thank you!

15th Apr 2026 (3 days ago)Property Management - Milton Drive Room! Feb 24, 2026 – I sent a request asking for confirmation of a date when someone could visit the property to carry out a move-out inspection. This was based on a prior understanding that, due to previous issues, I would move out once I had secured alternative accommodation. Feb 23 - request for move out was submitted following unauthorized access to the room and landlord causally claiming about TV & electrics in the room. There is an inventory report in place. March 3, 2026 – I sent a follow-up message regarding the above request after not receiving a response. March 4, 2026 – Vicki Harbor and Rebecca Sparks emailed stating that there were approximately £2K in rent arrears and that I had not confirmed a move-out date, when I requested for a move out date citing earlier agreement in writing. This response came after the initial request sent on Feb 24 and the follow-up on March 3, during which time another rent payment became due. They waited for another rent to become due before replying with inflated arrears amount. Vicki, copied to Rebecca, Landlord and Walton Office tried to claim that request was submitted on March 3 instead of Feb 24. I had also previously requested the possibility of moving to another room within the property in order to mitigate ongoing antisocial behaviour concerns, however this request was declined in the same email of March 4, 2026. March 4 - In communication, Vicki stated that the move-out request had only been submitted on March 3. When I provided a screenshot showing the earlier request dated Feb 24, the discrepancy was not completely ignored. Rent Arrears - Due to a history of issues with the tenancy, there had been an agreement that I would continue making payments and that any remaining arrears could be addressed from the tenancy deposit at the time of move-out. Despite explaining this position multiple times, debt collectors were given my details, payment reminders have continued to be sent over several months, including a further reminder after I reiterated the above context on March 4 - copying Landlord and Walton Office. Another reminder is sent today (March 5, 2026). When I asked whether the communication could be amended or clarified to reflect the earlier request and the existing understanding regarding arrears, this was declined by Vicki - the Head of Property Management, Leaders Roman Group. March 4, 2026 – following the expiry of the notice to rectify their conduct and issue amended communications along with a date to move out as per Feb 24 email - A formal complaint was submitted to Leaders Roman Group. March 5, 2026 - Formal Complaint was acknowledged. March 12, 2026 - Another debt reminder is sent. March 18, 2026 - Another debt reminder is sent. March 23, 2026 - Another debt reminder is sent. March 23, 2026 - Look at the reply to stage one complaint. The question of financial abuse due to deliberate delays has been completely ignored by this so called Regional Director, Property Management, Leaders Roman Group, by the name Rachael Salmon. March 27, 2026 - Notice of Eviction threatening letter is received by some Siphindile Jali, Credit Control Clerk from Leaders Roman Group (some where on planet, without postal address to leave a review of experience at relevant offices for all other ain similar position) April 8, 2026 - Another debt reminder is sent with number associated with some Worthing Office, Leaders. April 10, 2026 - Another debt reminder is sent. April 15, 2026 - Another debt reminder is sent, from some undisclosed Leader Roman Group location. The updates will follow. Will pdate this review as further information becomes available. Additional historical details covering several months will also be added here in reverse chronological order for completeness.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. 15th Apr 2026 (3 days ago)Pippa was excellent! Always available for any questions and super quick at replying to any emails (and we sent many ??????). She’s been incredibly helpful and kind, cannot recommend her enough! We got the perfect flat for us and the whole process has been incredibly easy. The dedicated portal to go through checks was great and they send us a lot of information so we were well informed before signing anything. We had a pretty bad experience with Chancellors so we were not the most keen on estate agents but she really changed our minds ?? 10/10 service, will absolutely go to Chase Buchanan before anyone else from now on.

The entire team is fantastic! Freddie, the estate agent, was wonderful. He consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were happy throughout the process. His honesty and integrity were refreshing and not something you come across often these days. Thanks Freddie! After moving into the property, Khrystyna from the property management team has been excellent. She made the transition smooth and has been very attentive to any queries, always doing her best to resolve things quickly and efficiently. Her professionalism and willingness to help have really eased our move into the new home. Thank you Khrystyna! you are a star! I would honestly give The Chant Group 5 stars and highly recommend them.

I first put my property on rent with foxtons. the manager at the Margot told me as this was the second property I was letting with Foxtons there would be no charges for 6months. This was a tactic to get my business as when the tenant was found they only wanted a 6 month let. I was told the next tenancy the discount would be applied. However, when the time arrived Margot stopped responding and then I was told that the deal was finished and they could not uphold this. As they ( Charlie) found tenants I went to foxtons again, big mistake. The tenants were awful and Foxtons did not help at all. Once Foxtons took over £5k for their fees from the rent they did nothing to help the situation with the tenants. The tenants then tried to place legal action based on misrepresentation of the property that Foxtons advertised. When I alerted Foxtons , Foxtons have tried to put the blame back on myself. I have asked for the managers details 3 time via email but still do not get it. I have request a SAR so awaiting this as Foxtons has said I did not inform them that the roof was not demised the flat ( which I did numerous times). All I have asked Foxtons for was to refund me the fees from now til the end of the tenancy so the tenants can leave ( as this is their preference) but Foxtons refuse. Honestly stay away.
