15th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)My experience with Roberts Hunt Estate Agents, particularly with James, was nothing short of exceptional—if you enjoy having your time completely wasted. James may appear charming and professional when you first meet, but once he's behind a screen, his true colors shine. They have a remarkable talent for inflating property prices well beyond reason—because who doesn’t love a pointless bidding war? It’s almost as if James takes pride in ensuring deals fall through at the most inconvenient moments. Would I recommend them? Only if frustration and disappointment are exactly what you're after!

All correspondence and updates during the process wose with Louis, wich is a great agent and really keep you up with all the information and help, you need it during all the waiting time.

22nd Oct 2024 (5 mo. ago)Excellent estate agents. Darren and his team were brilliant at selling our grade 2 listed property. Elmer especially, kept us informed through out the process of the sale, he was patient with us and was reassuring when we were finding things difficult. Christopher Neville's estate agent have sold three properties of mine in the past. The last one being a grade 2 listed. I thought, it might be difficult to sell but with Elmer and Darrens sales experiences there was no need, for me to worry. They did a fantastic job of selling our property.

16th Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)A really good team!! Found a full asking price offer within 1.5 weeks of going onto market. Buyers unfortunately pulled out and so the team had to start all over again and keep doggedly working to find another buyer. This took a few weeks but they have found another buyer with a very good offer, so overall we are very happy. Only thing they might be able improve on is giving feedback for all viewings but I suppose this is down to the viewer rather than the estate agent.

21st Oct 2024 (6 mo. ago)Review relates to property management and their dubious billing / service charge practice. Willmott's charged almost 3 times more for building insurance - when I asked they conveniently mention its the best price their broker managed to find yet i was able to get a like for like policy on open market for £11k less. Standard cleaning charges ~ £50 per hour, bogus charges eg removal of fire extinguishers that had already been removed a year before, £130 for placing no smoking sign, sending out contractors for a job that was not done properly in the first instances and then charging residents multiple times in the space of a year for the same job... an incompetent staff that changes the colour of your own front door without even asking for your consent presumably to drive up invoicing/extra management fees ... the list goes on. Strongly urge anyone that has Willmott's as their managing agents to look closely at your itemised service charge bills to avoid being over charged

He was always ready to answer any queries no matter how basic they may have been and gave sound advice on a number of occasions. Alan’s thoroughness and professionalism ensured that the stress was taken away from the whole procedure, for which I am very grateful. I would definitely recommend Your Move to anyone looking to buy or sell in Whitton.

18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Our viewings were bunched up with multiple other viewers, they rescheduled and cancelled confirmed viewings we had with no notice or communication and seem to list properties for wildly over what other local (similar) properties are listed and sold for. While one agent we met with was professional and helpful, some of the others were the complete opposite.
