10th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)Very disappointing experience with Your Move, especially as this was our first home purchase.<br>Before completion, we were clearly told and also confirmed by email that the property would be cleaned and all the rubbish and full bins would be removed before we received the keys. Unfortunately, when we collected the keys and entered the property, none of this had been done.<br>We contacted the agency immediately and were told they would speak to the owner and get back to us, but we received no further response.<br>Throughout the buying process, we also experienced issues where what we were told verbally did not always match what later appeared in the paperwork. This made the whole process stressful and difficult.<br>Buying our first home should have been a special and happy moment for our family. Sadly, the way the keys were handed over and the lack of support afterwards made the experience even more disappointing.<br>My advice to anyone buying through Your Move is to double-check everything yourself before transferring the funds, even if you have received confirmation that something will be done. Don't simply rely on promises — make sure everything is actually completed before completion.<br>I’m sharing this review so future buyers can be aware and avoid having the same experience.

She was always approachable, communicated clearly and made everything much easier and less stressful for me.<br>I really appreciate all the support and excellent service I received from Evie. 12th Sep 2026 (16 days ago)Between myself and my wife, in 12 weeks we received 1 phone call, and that was to lower the price they valued it at. The photos were poor too. Put the for sale board up on the wrong house. We were disappointed with the whole experience Horts are by all accounts a good agent so I’m told. Maybe we were unlucky

From viewing the property I purchased, with Richard going out of his way to accommodate my unexpected arrival from out of area and dealing expertly with the viewing through to the ongoing support from Sam and Charlotte during a very stressful process for me, I have been beyond impressed. The personal contact, almost hand-holding by phone & email by Charlotte in particular made me feel valued. To have someone understand my personal traumas while going through this process, dealing sensitively with my tears and exasperation with my buyers, has been such a huge support. If I am selling at a later stage I shall without doubt use this agency. Second to none! Thank you so much guys!
21st Sep 2026 (7 days ago)Our sale was problematic - or rather the chain was - and a lesser agent would not have resolved the issues as they arose. There were several over the duration of the process. Adele and Matt - with their different characters - instinctively employed their talents to meet each issue depending on its nature. This included assertiveness, calm sympathy and unbelievable patience. They know which covers which. They are a formidable team and worth every penny.

The team were approachable and took a thoughtful, personal approach rather than making the process feel rushed. They communicated clearly, listened to what I needed, and were helpful whenever I had questions.
