Second time renting though Howkins & Harrison and have remained impressed by how quick and efficient they work. Evie Kondracki has been very professional while still being approachable and I could always reach her if I had any queries. From the initial viewing until the signing of contracts it only took a bit over a week and I was able to move into the new property early which was amazing. My son and his partner regretted their decision to rent with them almost immediately. The property was fine, but the level of service and professionalism from the staff was simply shocking. The staff within the lettings department of Northampton were at least consistent with their lack of desire to help. With hindsight, the warnings were there from the beginning as I had to chase them for updates as the agency never showed any initiative. Once they were in the property, Howkins and Harrison perpetually used the excuse for their poor service that they didn't return calls or reply to emails as they were 'busier than usual', or 'the best person to do anything was out'. When eventually you get hold of someone, they're pleasant enough but don't expect anything they say or propose to actually happen without hours and hours of chasing.... Read more
