8th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)The valuation of my property was too high - I queried it, but the manager assured me it was achievable. It wasn't - I had just two viewings. I dropped the price by £10k in the end, but by then it had been on the market too long and was looking stale. Bradleys also has a deal with Homewise, a scheme for the over-60s that offers a reduced price in return for an equity stake. I specifically stated in the contract that I did not wish to be included in the Homewise scheme. Despite this, my property appeared on Rightmove with the Homewise listing at £65k less than the full-price listing. It looked very confusing and made the higher figure look overpriced. It took three calls/emails to get the Homewise listing removed. Feedback was generally poor and there were no suggestions about to how to improve marketing. One sales assistant did her best, but Bradleys seem to run the office on a shoestring.

Throughout the viewing she was informative, professional and well?prepared, creating a really positive experience. I felt very comfortable asking questions, and she represented the property and the agency beautifully.

3rd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)After unsuccessful efforts with another agent, we switched to Bond Oxborough Phillips and met Elliot Jack. Throughout what has become an 15-month relationship, Elliot has been in regular contact, explaining the situation and offering advice. When it became apparent, after 12 months, that the market was stagnating, he selflessly suggested a Modern Auction company and continued to support us and them in what became the final sale of the property on 2nd April 2026. In addition, Elle Walpole, during the time BOP were mrketing the property was an engaged and responsive support to Elliot. 23rd Apr 2026 (14 days ago)Chris and Emma at Savills Exeter have been great to deal with during our recent home relocation. They were professional, effective, reliable, clear, straight forward and efficient in everything they did but they were also friendly, thoughtful, responsive and really easy to work with. They were great at listening and understanding our situation as it evolved and changed and always ready to help with answers and suggestions when needed. Moving home can be a roller coaster of ups and downs but working with Chris and Emma and knowing we could rely on them to helpful and straight forward was a massive help and I am happy to be able to thoroughly recommend their services.

1st Mar 2026 (10 weeks ago)Write from the initial contact and the valuation, confidence was created. The property brochure was well photographed, designed, and with the language carefully crafted. Whenever we phoned the office, which ever member of staff answered was readily able to either respond personally or no immediately how to obtain an appropriate response. They were well organised and enthusiastic team.

Always friendly, professional and reassuring - and on hand to help us through the whole process. We would definitely recommend to anyone else in the Okehampton area. It’s great to be able to support a local business when moving rather than having to use national firms!

7th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

22nd Apr 2026 (15 days ago)Worst Barnstaple estate agent IMHO As a seller I contacted most estate agents via the Rightmove app; you enquire with one agent and it asks you if you want to send to all others. I received auto-responses from each. I emailed all back all with specifics of our home and what we were were looking to buy (we wanted to downsize from our existing 6/7 bedrooms to 4 and would consider buying in advance of moving out and renovating). I received responses from everyone, many very keen due to our property address. Woolliams was probably the most generic lacklustre response of all of them. I followed up by checking out each agent's location and portfolio. No disrespect to Woolliams, but their non-prime location and lower end mostly for rent portfolio (absolutely no shame in that) meant they were unsuitable IMHO to sell our existing home. As a buyer We saw a listing by Woolliams on Rightmove that was in a very good location in Newport but needed significant renovation. I enquired and made a viewing appointment. We met Danny Woolliams at the property and he seemed agitated as he got out his car. I am wheelchair bound and he made no effort to assist (e.g. allow us to park closer on the driveway); other agents showing us other properties were very helpful, not Danny. He refused to help me get in the house; other agents helped when viewing elsewhere. Danny clearly had not read the emails I sent him to explain what we wanted; he asked “What is it you are looking for?”. I have a speech defect (which is why I set out our wish list in the emails) but Danny made no attempt to listen; he simply said “Look, I don't understand you” and then proceeded to talk over me while I was explaining things to my wife. What made it worse is he completely trashed the property we came to view, telling us point by point how bad it was, which was bizarre. Of course, Danny was actually dissing the one we had come to view and started trying to switch us onto a completely different (in every way, including the area / location) property on the basis it was what we really should be looking for in his opinion! In short, Danny was exceptionally unprofessional and rude. I complained about his conduct by email but was met with denial of wrongdoing. A few days later, my wife asked me to enquire for her about another property (I told her I did not want to view as it clearly had issues from reading between the details lines, and I did not really want to meet with Danny again). I made an enquiry for her anyway, but she was / we were ignored. When we followed up (RSVP) a couple of times, Danny refused to show it to her / me (I already said I wasn't going to view with her but asked about some apparent issues with it). No loss for me but my wife was upset to have been treated like she was (she did not say anything critical to Danny and the property we were looking to buy would be hers, in her name alone as I have MND and only a limited time to live, it makes sense). I could have said much more in my review but held back. e.g. Some of what Danny told us about other clients was totally inappropriate if not unlawful.

11th Aug 2025 (8 mo. ago)Unlike other estate agents that we tried, EweMove are without a doubt the best estate agents around with their proffessionalism, knowledge, network, skills, dedication and enthusiasm. They were encouraging and caring during the many viewings, then once an offer was accepted they kept us constantly updated on the sale progression within the chain, which at times was more than our own solicitors managed to do.... As people now have more choice on both types of properties, locations and values, its becoming harder to sell properties, especially the larger and more costly properties, but thanks to Tom, Abi, Connor, Laura, Russell & the rest of the team we have successfully sold and exchanged contracts last week on our property and can now look forward to a new chapter in our later life's. Well done and a big thank you to the EweMove Team.
