Wanted a valuation - so on 19/12/23 via their online enquiry form requested for 15/1/24 at 12 noon. A lady phoned me a few hours later to confirm. She stated that I would receive an email confirming - never got the email. Chased on the 15/1/24 via the on line enquiry form which stated they had received my enquiry form. Never got a call. 12 noon came and went. When I spoke to the office they stated they hadn’t received any enquiries from me! Let’s hope potential buyers don’t have the same problem. Need to say I’m using another agent!

was viewing a home with Darren and discussing the work reqd inside the home. he didnt like this and said DONT BUY A HOUSE, RENT THEN. which i thought was very rude. no need to be like that and cause upset.
also had a conversation with Darren about buying the house and price etc. he refused to engage in any conversation at all, simply kept responding with ARE YOU GOING TO BUY THIS HOUSE?ARE YOU GOING TO BUY THIS HOUSE?ARE YOU GOING TO BUY THIS HOUSE? not a positive experience at all with him as the contact. very blunt, rude and an unpleasant experience.

Outstanding support for a purchase. We lived a long way away and Mark was most helpful visiting the property several times and getting us any info we needed such as room sizes, he also met contractors at the property for us for them to give us options as to what we could do with the property.
Certainly dispelled the myth around estate agents and we would very much recommend them as estate agents to work with.

My wife and I were so pleased Abbott & Abbott were the Estate Agents for our vendors. Prior to exchange of contracts they chased the bottom of the chain when nothing seemed to be happening and then on the day of completion they were amazing. Due to problems, again, with the very first transaction we were unable to complete that day. Michael Green performed miracles to ensure we did not need to return to our previous home and go through the whole process again the next day. By his own admission he had not encountered a similar situation for many years but with his care and professionalism plan B was put into place. I cannot praise Abbott and Abbott enough, from start to completion all staff were polite, helpful and professional.
The initial visit, taking photos and video and the printed publication and Right move advertising were accomplished quickly and efficiently. I was kept well informed at all times regarding accompanied visits, offers and progress of the sale.
The whole process was completed in just less than three months.

Their professionalism was on a level not seen very much in this day and age.
I met with Mark initially to discuss my options for selling my property in Bexhill.
Darren did the viewings, achieving above the asking price, in no time at all.

Michael, Mark, Darren and Keren are all absolutely lovely to deal with, this is probably the best Estate Agency that I've ever dealt with and I've bought and sold a lot of property in my time. Abbott & Abbott have been extremely helpful with the sale of my father's bungalow in Bexhill. He died during the first Covid lockdown when it was very difficult to find an estate agent to come out and value the property for probate but when I contacted Abbott & Abbott they were happy to come out and did a valuation in a safe way. About a year later we were in a position to sell the property and went back to Abbott & Abbott to do this for us. Again they were very efficient, advising us on the price, explaining things we didn't know and keeping us informed along the way until the completion last week. We would recommend Abbott & Abbott to anyone wanting a good service.

We used to rent a house managed by Abbott & Abbott. I would recommend this agency as they are professional and approachable.
We've always been informed about any inspections or maintenance works well in advance.
Steph had always promptly resolved any issues and we have always felt that we're in good hands in case anything unexpected happens.
Our landlords have also been very forthcoming and helpful.
Overall we've had a very good experience renting from Abbott & Abbott and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

From the initial telephone call, the valuation and the property being placed onto the market,
Darren was polite, friendly, honest and genuinely interested and enthusiastic.
We were given an honest appraisal of its value and the likelihood of achieving it.
After agreeing a very good commission rate, photographs and measurements were taken and within hours we were sent the sales brochure for our approval.
On the first day of sale, we had four viewings and two offers, one of which we accepted, we were also regularly updated on the progress of the sale.
Personally, I believe that Abbott & Abbott are the best local estate agency in the area.

It seems the lettings agent that was conducting our viewing might have felt a way about our race - this was the most uncomfortable experience in our house searching so far.and I truly hope doesn’t reflect the agency’s belief and customer service.
From the moment we showed up on time he didn’t express any interest in giving us information about the property. Had we approached him with attitude and disrespect then maybe his behaviour might have been justified. All he said was “just look around the property is empty” - There was no enthusiasm, eye contact and any other information given I had to press for more however I had to repeat myself when asking property related questions. Honestly the most insulting thing about this encounter was his looking away from us as if we’re wasting his time. I honestly thought because we’d approached the agency in person a week early and had a chat we’d have a human experience but after this viewing our hearts are so disappointed. It’s like at any moment someone has to remind you you’re the ‘other’ and unwanted but ultimately our money is just as valuable. I hope this helps this agency do better. We’re genuinely looking for a property to live in and just because we’re black doesn’t give anyone the right to be dismissive and rude. Do better.

Having dealt with a person called jurgen,unfortunately not the first time, I can only give my honest opinion about dealing with him he is rude and totally confrontational.he should not be working in a job where he has to converse with people because he hasn't got a clue how to speak to people properly.its a shame because everybody else in the office are very friendly and helpful yet this person has been the same on the many times I've unfortunately had to talk to him.

They may be a small agency compared to some of the other agencies in the Bexhill area, but their service to their clients is second to none. If we could have awarded six out of five we would have. Professional and invaluable advice was given at valuation, yet there was never any pressure to market with them!
Feedback followed viewings and the property quickly sold.
All phone calls and emails were dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner, and as sale progressed, the regular phone calls with updates were very reassuring.
