Fox and Sons have been amazing so far in helping myself and my partner buy our first home together!
Calum has been such a great help in booking in viewings and showing us around the property. He kept in contact the entire time, let me know what was going on and then greeted us with a huge welcoming smile at the property. No question was too hard and Calum gave us as much time as we wanted when looking around. Anything he didn’t know, he passed on and questions got answered quickly.
Calum also recommend that we see Nick, their financial advisor, and booked us in the next day. Nick too has been amazing and I couldn’t recommend going and having a chat with him enough! Although we are still in the process of buying with them, Nick is making our journey so smooth and taking some of those first time buyer nerves away!

Rob,the manager,visited our property on Monday,5th. August and was brilliant,,,very friendly,mature (in fact he helped me during visit when I got a really worrying scam call)and aware of market.
I would not hesitate a nano second to use Rob and his team for selling a house.
Interestingly he immediately assessed the usp of house !(kitchen on which we have spent £40000)totally in tune with our view..,that's a good eye for design,that is !

Callum was like a breath of fresh air at the viewings as those who have dealt with agents selling residential will know it can be a very insincere event/not with this young man polite/professional/informed and a complete pleasure to work with I could not praise this young guy enough.I work a lot with commercial property agents and they could learn a lot from Calum

I had the most excellent service from this team in Bexhill this past weekend!
Tyler was an outstanding, clear, efficient and knowledgeable booker - I really felt that she was working for her clients - finding out what I wanted to achieve and marrying that to the sellers. Things got better with the viewings! Callum Barnes was simply brilliant. He was presentable, mature, respectful of every building we visited. I was so impressed, I had to write. I was very impressed with the young man who showed a buyer around my apartment. He was attentive, efficient and took time out to be both pleasant and professional to us both. He loved my cat, which is always a bonus and Delilah was impressed with him too! He wasn’t itching to get away to another viewing as the agency he works for allowed him sufficient time, bearing in mind us ladies love to chat about our property & garden. The lady made an offer on my property and, hopefully, before long I’ll be moving out and she’ll be moving in! Happy days!!

Awful. Made an offer on a probate property (cash) with no response. Had the feeling there was something not quite right - heard nothing for over a week. Fox's said that they could not contact the family. We had a hunch that the offer had not been put forward. They eventually said the offer had been refused. Lo and behold now looking at HMLR sold prices website the property was sold for £20k LESS than our offer so the family has lost out on £20K. BEWARE!!!!!

I made the mistake of going with Fox and Sons last May, and they turned out to be terrible. I dumped them and went with another estate agent. That would have been the end of it, and I wouldn't have left a bad review but... I specifically asked for them to remove my details from their system, and not receive any marketing. Low and behold, I started receiving marketing calls. So, here's my review of them; Terrible photos, and I had to take my own high def' ones in the end, and even those, they managed to pixelate and screw up when they put them on the web. Even though I showed them round, they kept sending agents to viewings who hadn't been here before, and had no idea where anything was (a large sprawling property). They push all their own financial services and conveyancers, who are rubbish, and have numerous bad reviews on the internet. I had no idea who was in charge, or who I was dealing with from week to week, and they lied about their database of potential buyers. In any case, if I receive any more marketing calls from them I am reporting them to the police for harassment. Don't use them.

Recently had offer accepted through Fox and sons in Bexhill after a very long property search using multiple different agencies. Viewing arranged promptly by Charles and then met Tyler who showed me round the property. Dealing with genuine, honest people like Tyler definitely encouraged me to offer and so I want to give credit to her professionalism, genuine interest in what I was looking for and for dealing with any queries about the property. I'm not actually a customer of Fox and Sons, I gave them a chance when I was looking for an Estate agent in Bexhill but Charles cancelled the appointment then failed to show for the next, when he did eventually show up I decided not to go with them, mainly for the bad reviews on here and also the fee was 0.5% higher commission than most of their competitors
The most annoying thing is is that I'm still constantly bombarded with underhand calls asking to drop my current Estate agent and go with them
After repeatedly and politely asking to take my details off the system go ignored I have had to make an official complaint to their Headoffice, if that doesn’t work I will contact the Ombudsman

I first got in touch with fox and sons Bexhill about purchasing a property and since that they have introduced me to Stephen the mortgage advisor who has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole buying process. Suggested a price range, and property sold within this range despite the turmoil of government promoted collapse of the housing market. This was achieved through using modern methods of selling, akin to an auction. Very pleased with client interaction and information exchange. Owner not local so viewings were all handled by agent.

We had anappointment booked by Ben to see Robert Viles in the Bexhill Branch (12/3/22) to discuss our current circumstances and Morgage advice. We then viewed three properties that were being advertised by Fox & Sons, one being a wild card chosen by Ben.
We then reviewed all the properties we saw that day (6 in total) and decided that the wild card property was for us and decided to put an offer in on Monday (14/3/22)
Our offer was accepted! And Rob stayed behind after work to process and discuss our morgage application for that property.

Don't give Fox and Sons contact details! 5 years after valued late father's property, still contacting me, (February 2021) despite being told property sold in 2015!! 2 weeks ago assured contact removed, yet phoned again today! Very distressing! Shame had to give 1* to write review! Read on as to why didn't use in 1st place!
BIG MISTAKE to get Fox & Son to value late father's home in September 2015!
Took over 90 minutes to value small 2 bed bungalow! Very pushy to get to use them!
No consideration that it was difficult and emotional time!
When informed valuer we had decided to use another independent, Bexhill agent, he was aggressive in way spoke. Couldn't understand why using that company, said making mistake as they wouldn't sell the property.
In fact the other company were very professional, considerate and caring and sold property in 3 weeks for more than expected price!
Fox & Sons phone at regular intervals, even though told them property sold! Every time ask to be taken off their list!
Today (March 2017) left upset and distressed when contact yet again, this time about several properties they had sold in street of my late father's home!
Fox & Sons obviously don't/can't update their information or care about people, just want to get properties on their books!

The Bexhill branch are the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. Phoned to make an offer on thursday morning, to be told that one member of staff was qualified to take it. Then waited 6 hours for them to phone back and ask exactly the same information I'd already given. They then didnt pass the offer until the following day, friday, and when the vendor called them back on saturday, the staff member who can deal with offers wasnt in and therefore I was told it would have to wait till monday when he was back. Phoned again at 10:00 on monday to find out they still didnt know but had recieved another offer in the mean time. They did everything they could to not take my offer short of actually refusing and I still have no idea whether mine would have been accepted as I withdrew solely due to the agent. If I could filter out properties so that I never had to deal with this estate agent I would. I loved the property but if they were doing this for an offer I wasnt prepared to take the risk of continuing, knowing that the estate agent was incapable of communicating. I hope they were incompetent rather than acting in bad faith but I suspect not.

Simply appalling. Photographs were so bad we had to pay for the package that meant they took some decent ones. They organised an EPC that gave a worse result than one made years ago before double glazing was put in. It ultimately turned out there was a keying error. I had to sort this out, they couldn't be bothered. They never got a For Sale sign put up after repeated requests. They were asked four times, over many weeks, to take the property off the market before they reacted. Totally and utterly incompetent.

Recently used fox to sell my late mother’s home and was very impressed. I had Andrew come out to see me to give me a price and was impressed with the realistic valuation he provided and the different ways he thought could sell it. After having 3 agents out I decided to use fox’s as I felt they were slightly more switched on. Within a few days I had a pleasant chap called Charles phone me to introduce himself as it would be him I’d mainly be dealing with. The next week the property was ready to market with their ‘professional package’ which I was unsure about at first but I have to say I’m glad I went for it as the details looked great. Charles got me viewings straight away and kept me up to date with how the viewings went. 2 weeks later I had Travis the new manager phone me with an offer which after some negotiation and advice I agreed. Thereafter I was kept informed about how the sale was getting on and after a slight complication we exchanged. Despite reading some previous negative reviews I can say that you shouldn’t always believe what you’re told as it seems there’s a whole new team who I found to be very efficient and always helpful. Thanks fox I’d highly recommend!

The service we received was terrible.We paid £210 00 for additional specialist marketing .The photographer arrived late took the photos.After several phone calls nearly 2 weeks later we received details of our property to be authorised. The photos were not that good but the discrption was not my property . I decided to go with another estate agent.I emailed Fox and Sons compaints department.No reply yet .

Couldn’t recommend this agency enough. It really is a one stop shop for all you need to buy , sell or let homes. Initially I only popped in to find a little bit of information and left an hour or so later with all the info I required. Victoria manages a great team. Arthur , Josh and LIam couldn’t be more helpful and on the letting and management side Laura is very knowledgeable and helpful. Great service

Awful experience, very very pushy to manipulate you into having an appointment with their mortgage advisor, to the point it felt like bullying. Even their use of wording they used made me think they wouldn't put our offer forward a long with others as we had refused to see their advisor, as already had an agreement in principle. Not to mention the lies, saying they had tried to call me and left a voicemail when they hadn't being one of the many.

They charge you for the photos and, if you have any sense, you will rewrite the property details. Besides uploading everything to Rightmove it's hard to see what they do for you. The promised regular progress reports never happened, not even once. They don't return your phone calls and they don't check out the chain properly - told us this was our solicitors job. Their commission can be low but they attempted to charge it on the asking price not the selling price Totally unprofessional
