I had a great, positive experience with Bairstow Eves in Folkestone, I mostly dealt with Claire the manager.
I felt they were wonderful and actually more helpful than my actual solicitors.
Claire always update me, chased the solicitors and kept in touch with the buyer.
I was quite unfortunate in August as the sale fell through, however Claire remained upbeat and optimistic at all times and finally they were successful in selling me home.
I would like to say thank you to the whole team and that I appreciate all the work that went into this sale.

Me and my partner have recently been able to find our first flat with Bairstow Eves. We had Louise Ive from the lettings team and from the very beginning she was fantastic. When it came to finding the initial property she was very quick to react and managed to get us a property viewing within a few hours !! we loved it so we decided to go for it and Louise was very supportive and helped us around referencing and checks and everything was all greened after 24 hours. During the 24 hours she kept us updated with everything going on and a couple days later we was confirmed that we was accepted to rent this property. There was no issues regarding this application for us as Louise acted on all the possible negatives very fast. Added bonus - They even gave us a move in gift box with lots a little gifts and vouchers that we could use to build up our property. we loved in and would HIGHLY recommend her and agency when it comes to finding the perfect property for you :)

I was buying a property for sale with Bairstow Eaves Folkestone. It was a lengthy process taking over 5 months due to various problems. The sale was completed at the end of March
Even though I wasn’t their client the service was amazing. The most important thing for me was communication. I was dealing with Emily , she kept me up to date, always phoned when she said she would and answered my voicemails and e mails promptly. The purchase got really complicated due to Freehold issues and I have to say Emily was more use to me than my solicitor at times. I would certainly recommend Bairstow Eaves.

As a professional in this industry I think the biggest mistake people make when selling their property, is that they choose the brand, opposed to the person that is actually going to be dealing with what is one of the most stressful experiences we go through in our lifetime.
This is why I chose Claire, at Bairstows. Claire is conscientious, empathetic, efficient and above all somebody who genuinely cares about her customers.
Unfortunately we were in a chain with Miles and Barr, and I can honestly say that they were the complete opposite. I could go on for hours about how bad Miles & Barr were; but this review is to say how fantastic Claire and her team were.

Fantastic service from both Maria and Clare. We went into the branch to inquire about one house and Maria also mentioned another about to come to market. We viewed the house, which was lovely and made an offer but were beaten by a better offer. Undeterred, Maria contacted us the next day and told us the good news that she had negotiated with a one time potential vendor on the same street, and that they were happy to bring the house back on the market. Clare arranged that I could view the house, immediately after she had valued it, and then ensured that my wife was also able to see it the same day. We put an offer which was immediately accepted and so we are now headed to our dream house. Thank you so much Maria and Clare for being so proactive.

From the beginning till the end of the transaction we had almost daily communication from Claire. She would always update us first thing in the morning. She and her team (we also had interactions with Michael) exceeded our expectations and their customer service was outstanding. Although it was lockdown, they were easy to get hold of, always an email or phone call away and were very efficient and proactive throughout. She didnt just end her job after getting us the sale she was with us throughout the legal procedures making sure the sellers soliciors and our solicitor were up to date in getting the enquiries all completed in time. It has to be said that Michael Winstanley is by far the absolute best agent we have dealt with over the course of the past six months or so. Throughout this period, Draco and I have viewed a high number of properties from a range of agents. Of course, there will always also be a range of professionalism, knowledge, people skills and connection, and although it's not a competition - if it was - Michael would definitely win!
Michael is completely service-driven and client-focussed. Michael has always been very well informed about the properties he presents and it is obvious that he pre-plans what information he will share with his potential buyers upon arrival by way of an informal presentation. He takes up his space and speaks with confidence and authority whilst remaining completely personable and relaxed. Whenever we've asked a question that he doesn't know the answer to, Michael has always followed through and got back to us with the answer as promised. Totally reliable!
We always feel like we are in such good hands. We feel valued not just as a potential buyers but also as people - which is so lovely.

As a new landlord, I can not praise the lettings service provided by Chance Lewis-Donnelly and Carina Fowler highly enough. I had reviewed several agents before deciding to use Bairstow Eves. very disappointing. we decided to see some apartments but the agent did not want to respond to the mail or messages after the first meeting with us. it was simpler to say that she does not want to help us or that she does not like our face. and also i told her, we work and we have all the documents, the only disadvantage is that we are not British citizens. Bad point!!!!

So slow!!!!
When it is urgent for them they are really pushy and when it is important for you they just don't care.
We decided to buy the flat we used to rent only because dealing with this agency was a pain!
But even now, when the purchase has been completed more then a month ago they've been sitting on our deposit since.

I cannot speak highly enough of Cassandra. She is how you want an estate agent to be. Enough comms to keep you updated on new properties coming onto the market without being too much or no comms at all.
You feel looked after with Bairstow eves. And they listen to what you want rather than trying to push properties that are not selling into you.
I fully recommend this estate agent and if you get Cassandra you will be looked after.

Bairstow Eves Folkestone were amazing
Bairstow Eves Folkestone were great in helping me to find a property, in fact Claire at Bairstow suggested I view the property I ended up buying even though it had not been on my original list of properties to view.
From the point of the offer being accepted, I was also introduced to Kathryn who helped me with a new mortgage application from start to finish. Both Claire and Kathryn with there expertise were invaluable in helping me through the entire process and were both always on hand to answer questions. As part of Countrywide, based on the trust I had with both ladies I also chose Countrywide Conveyancing for my Survey and Solicitors which also meant both Claire and Kathryn were involved in helping me bring everything together.
Both ladies are lovely and I can not recommend them highly enough.

Luke the owner of South Key Homes was really helpful, listened to our needs and fulfilled them within budget. He wasn't like most agents who bombard you with properties way above budget, or try sell you properties that don't suit the requirements. He's honest and reliable- as he didn't waste our time when his client started becoming indecisive to sell. He just was honest with the situation and told us to go for the other house we'd seen that wasn't on his books.
We plan to live in our new house for a few years and then sell. When we do, South Key Homes will be our first point of call.
